Tom Sandoval on Joining ‘The Valley’ Possibilities
“Vanderpump Rules” alum Tom Sandoval is one of the most talked-about reality television stars. He’s spent the last couple of years rehabbing his image. Notably, he recently gained public favor by appearing on “America’s Got Talent.” There have also been rumors of him joining “The Valley.” Now, he’s opening up about the chances this could happen.
Sandoval recently spoke to US Weekly about his reality television future. He said, “As far as The Valley goes, look, it’s always nice to be asked for something like that. You know, it would, but as far as doing it, I mean, I don’t really have plans to do it.”
He continued, “I have mixed feelings about it. Yeah, I don’t know. I really have enjoyed not showing up and just having to film where you just show up and you just talk about [stuff] all the time.”
Sandoval Will be Back on ‘America’s Got Talent’ Soon
Sandoval and his band, The Most Extras, appeared on “America’s Got Talent’ in June 2025. They performed “Take on Me” by A-ha and received some positive criticism. Now, he’s opening up about their next appearance on the hit reality competition show, which will be on August 19.
He spoke to Us Weekly about earning America’s vote by saying, “I think that it’s just gonna take a lot of hard work and passion. When I watch people perform and I see them put their whole selves into a performance, it really moves me.”
Sandoval and his band will do a rendition of The Weekend’s “Blinding Lights” for the upcoming episode. He spoke about choosing music for “America’s Got Talent,” saying, “I’m a huge fan of ‘80s music. It’s tough not to wanna do an ‘80s song again.”
He continued, “[But] that’s one thing I really want to show is the variety of songs that we play. One thing I love about our band is, yes, we do ‘Take on Me,’ but we also do a lot of deep cuts. We don’t do the normal songs that you would hear from every cover band.”
The former “Vanderpump Rules” star also spoke about how he’s preparing. According to him, “It’s been a learning process, and I’ve been working with vocal coaches, and I’m continuing to work with vocal coaches and continuing to push myself.”
He’s Not Done with Reality TV
Sandoval may have doubts about joining “The Valley,” but he’s not finished with reality television. According to Bravo TV, he has been cast on the upcoming season of “House of Villains,” which they have already filmed.
The cast includes Paul Abrahamian, Tyson Apostol, Jackie Christie, Drita D’Avanzo, Plane Jane, Johnny Middlebrooks, Ashley Mitchell, Christine Quinn, Kate Chastain, and Tiffany “New York” Pollard.
