Packers give long snapper Matt Orzech new three-year contract extension
Green Bay Packers long snapper Matt Orzech signed a new three-year contract extension, agent Paul Sheehy of Pro Star Sports Agency announced on Tuesday.
Orzech, who has been the Packers long snapper each of the last two seasons, was set to enter the 2025 season on the final year of his deal. A three-year extension keeps him under contract in Green Bay through the 2028 season.
Orzech is one third of a special teams battery in Green Bay featuring veteran kicker Brandon McManus, who signed a three-year deal before free agency, and ascending punter Daniel Whelan.
Orzech has appeared in all 34 regular season games and all three playoff games for the Packers since the start of the 2023 season. Orzech, who signed with the Packers in March of 2023, turned 30 years old in April.
Orzech will make $1,170,000 in base salary in 2025.
