The Titans suffered their 10th loss of the season, but it was a seemingly promising showing from rookie quarterback Cam Ward
Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward reveals one key area he wants to see improve after his solid day vs. the Seattle Seahawks.

The Tennessee Titans fell 30-24 in Week 12 to the Seattle Seahawks. Despite the club suffering its 10th loss of the season, it was seemingly a promising showing from rookie quarterback Cam Ward. After flashing major potential in back-to-back games, Ward reveals the key area he'd like to see the team improve heading into Week 13.
During the postgame press conference, the 23-year-old quarterback wants to see himself and the Titans play better ball in the middle of the games, according to Turron Davenport of ESPN. Penalties and mistakes in the middle portion of the contest are what Ward would like to see improve moving forward.
“It's just really the biggest thing with us offensively, we gotta be better in [the] middle of the game,” said Ward. “[We] continue to just have these penalties from us as a group. So, that's the biggest thing we gotta harp on, and we gotta focus on.”
Although that's true, Sunday's contest against a tough Seahawks team is arguably Cam Ward's best performance of the season. He had a strong opening drive that nearly led to the Titans' first opening-drive touchdown of the season. Then, he led Tennessee to outscore Seattle 21-14 in the second half.
The former Miami Hurricane ended the day with 256 passing yards and two total touchdowns (one passing, one rushing) while completing 66.6% of his pass attempts. Ward also led the Titans in rushing yards with 37. He spread the ball around against the Seahawks, connecting with eight different teammates through the air.
Cam Ward and the Titans will have the chance to make the middle-of-the-game improvements in Week 13 when they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Tennessee will have a chance to play spoiler and possibly hinder Jacksonville's playoff chances in that matchup.
Titans Come Up Short in 30-24 Loss to Seahawks
The Titans, and their fans, got a jolt of excitement with a highlight-reel punt return in the third quarter on Sunday.
Unfortunately, the team didn't make enough plays around it in a 30-24 loss to the Seahawks.
Chimere Dike's 90-yard punt return for a touchdown was Tennessee's biggest highlight on a day when the Titans couldn't muster up enough offense, or defense.
Yes, the team made it interesting late, when quarterback Cam Ward connected with Dike for a one-yard touchdown with 43 seconds left to make it a one-score game.
But the Titans couldn't recover the onside kick, ending their hopes for a comeback win.
And, they were once again left with the realization they didn't do enough.
"The only thing that matters is a win or a loss," said Ward, who completed 28-of-42 passes for 256 yards in the contest, with a touchdown pass, and a six-yard touchdown run.
"It's a loss, and we have to continue to try and win games to dig ourselves out of the hole that we're in. At the end of the day, we get better every week, and we have to emphasize getting better now, getting better faster. And that starts tomorrow.
Jayden Daniels sends Commanders fans into a frenzy with shocking injury claim

All eyes will be on Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels after the bye week. Debates have been raging about when, or if, the dynamic signal-caller would feature again this season. But that didn't stop him from sending fans into a frenzy with a shocking claim.

The Commanders didn't place Daniels on injured reserve with a dislocated elbow. There was no structural or ligament damage, which represented the best-case scenario after a scary-looking complication. The timeline was reportedly between three and six weeks, but some experts didn't think it was worth putting him in the firing line with Washington playing for nothing other than pride.
There are valid arguments for both. However, Daniels is ultra-competitive. If he's healthy enough to compete and help his teammates, he wants to be out there.
Jayden Daniels plans to make Commanders return in Week 13 against the Broncos
According to the player, he could even be on the field in Week 13 when the Commanders host the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football.
Brandon Aiyuk, who's a close friend of Daniels' from their time together at Arizona State, FaceTimed the signal-caller during a social media video. The wide receiver asked the No. 2 pick in 2024 if he would be back this week, and the answer was a resounding yes.

This was surprising. Not many thought Daniels would get back so quickly. Nothing has been confirmed as yet, but he's clearly confident of passing specific tests after a prolonged rest period to take his place back in the lineup.
The Commanders would have a simple decision to make if Daniels practices throughout the week. Denver boasts one of the most formidable pass-rushing units anywhere in the league, but head coach Dan Quinn cannot be scared to throw the LSU product into the prime-time fire once again.
Daniels is bullish. He urged Aiyuk, who could be joining his old college teammate in Washington next season if he's released by the San Francisco 49ers as expected, to tune in. He clearly feels he is making encouraging progress, which represents the most encouraging sign yet that the Commanders will get their franchise player back on the field much sooner than initially anticipated.
It remains a wait-and-see scenario. The Commanders will still approach Daniels with extreme caution. Taking things step by step is key, and the Heisman Trophy winner will only be risked if there is 100 percent confidence in his outlook.
The Broncos will be preparing for both Daniels and Marcus Mariota, especially after this revelation. But when it seemed all hope was lost, fans got something positive to latch onto.
