Steelers WR DK Metcalf Rips Browns After Beatdown
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf had some choice words for the Cleveland Browns are Sunday’s victory.
The Steelers‘ 23-9 victory was Metcalf’s first taste of the AFC North rivalry following an offseason trade to Pittsburgh. He enjoyed himself during the convincing win that moved the Steelers to 4-1 this season.
“I don’t want to get into divisional rivalries or anything of that nature. But I mean, it was fun kicking the Browns‘ (expletive) on Sunday,” Metcalf said, per Chris Adamski of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
Metcalf had some room to talk after a solid performance. He posted four catches for 95 yards and a touchdown against the Browns.
The Steelers now lead the AFC North with a 4-1 record. The Bengals are 2-4 but are playing without their starting quarterback, Joe Burrow. The Ravens — who were the preseason favorite in the division — have stumbled to 1-5, losing their last two convincingly with two-time MVP Lamar Jackson sidelined. The Browns fell to 1-5 after their loss to the Steelers on Sunday.
Steelers Coach Mike Tomlin Also Took Shot at Browns
Metcalf was not the only member of the Steelers to shade the Browns after the matchup. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin also made his feelings clear on Cleveland trading veteran quarterback Joe Flacco to the QB-needy Bengals.
“Andrew Berry must be a lot smarter than me or us,” Tomlin said, “because it doesn’t make sense to me to trade a quarterback that you think enough of to make your opening-day starter to a division opponent that’s hurting in that area. But that’s just my personal feelings.”
The Browns landed a fifth-round pick in return for Flacco, whom they benched ahead of Week 6 in favor of rookie Dillon Gabriel. The Bengals, meanwhile, acquired a veteran quarterback they hope can help stabilize their offense with Burrow sidelined.
“It certainly made sense from Cincinnati’s perspective,” Tomlin said. “He can throw the football, and he’s always been able to throw the football — arm strength, arm accuracy, anticipatory passer, fluid movement through progressions. That’s always been his game.”
Flacco went 1-3 as the starter in Cleveland, passing just 815 yards, two touchdowns and six interceptions.
Browns Reeling After Loss to Steelers
The Browns have bigger problems than a division rival talking some smack. Cleveland’s offense is a mess, ranking near the bottom of the NFL in just about every category. The Browns have not scored more than 17 points in 11 straight games dating back to last season.
For things to turn around for the Browns, a lot has to change — in a hurry.
“For us the focus is on being better as an offense, and that goes into a bunch of different areas,” Stefanski said. “I know I can be better for this football team. I know I can certainly be better for this offense. But our focus is on making sure that we all do our part in getting this thing going.”
The Browns have a chance to get on track this week as they host the 1-5 Miami Dolphins. Cleveland is a 2.5-point favorite for the matchup, per ESPN BET.
Rams vs. Ravens Prediction, Odds, Spread, Injuries, Trends for NFL Week 6

This has been the season of hell for the Baltimore Ravens. Not only have they lost multiple close games, but they're the most injured team in the NFL, and Lamar Jackson looks like he's about to miss a second straight game.
Things won't get easier for them in Week 6 when they host the Los Angeles Rams, who are coming off a mini-BYE after playing against the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football.

Rams vs. Ravens Key Player to Watch
- Puka Nacua, WR - Los Angeles Rams
Puka Nacua is the betting favorite to be named the NFL Offensive Player of the Year through the first five weeks, sitting at +230 at FanDuel. His 52 receptions are nine more than any other pass-catcher in the NFL. He also leads the league in receiving yards with 588, which is 54 more than any other receiver. Any time the Rams play, Nacua is the player to watch.
Rams vs. Ravens Prediction and Pick
In this week's edition of the Road to 272 Bets, I broke down why I'm taking the OVER:
This is a game that I'd recommend waiting until Lamar Jackson's injury status is declared before betting on it, but as per my rules for the Road to 272 Bets, I have to place my bets on Monday, so here we are. To avoid the potential significant swing in the point spread if Jackson plays, I'm going to bet the OVER instead.
The Ravens' defense has been downright horrific to start the season, allowing 5.8 yards per play, and now they have to take on the best offense in football, as per DVOA and success rate. Matthew Stafford and company will be able to rack up points in this game, so it'll just be whether or not the Ravens' offense will contribute.
The Rams rank 20th in the league in opponent rush EPA, so if the Ravens stick to running the ball, they may find more success on offense than you'll think.
