Quinshon Judkins Sets Sights on Historic Rookie Campaign, Aims to Fill the Void Left by Joe Flacco’s Departure
Quinshon Judkins, the promising rookie running back for the team, is quietly building what could be a historic debut season, determined to prove himself as a key player following the departure of veteran Joe Flacco. With the team reshuffling its roster and leadership, Judkins is focused on making a significant impact and carving out his place in the team’s future.
“I’ve been working hard every day to earn my spot,” Judkins said in a recent interview. “Joe Flacco was a great leader, and I know there’s a lot of expectations now that he's gone. But I’m here to show that I can be a part of the future of this team — and that means putting in the work and doing whatever it takes.”
Despite being a rookie, Judkins has already caught the attention of coaches and teammates alike. His natural talent, work ethic, and maturity for his age have set him apart. With the departure of Flacco, the team is looking for new leaders, and Judkins has embraced the challenge of stepping up.
“Quinshon’s been impressive from day one,” said head coach. “He’s got the skills, and he’s hungry to prove himself. We believe he has what it takes to lead this offense and be a major part of our success moving forward.”
Judkins’ determination to fill the leadership void left by Flacco is evident both on and off the field. While many rookies would shy away from such a responsibility, Judkins is ready to step up and make a name for himself. His goal isn’t just to replace Flacco, but to establish his own legacy with the team.
“As a rookie, I know I have a lot to prove, but I’m not afraid of the challenge,” Judkins continued. “I’m focused on getting better every week and helping this team win. I know it’s a process, but I’m ready for it.”
With his relentless work ethic and growing confidence, Quinshon Judkins is on track to make a significant impact in his rookie year, and with each game, he continues to demonstrate that he could be the future cornerstone of the team’s offense.
Jets Predicted to Make Heisman Favorite Their New Franchise QB in Recent Mock Draft

- An 0-5 start to the 2025 NFL season currently has the New York Jets projected to have the first overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft
- The struggles of Justin Fields during this losing streak will likely have them looking at quarterbacks with that pick
- A recent mock draft predicted Oregon QB Dante Moore would be the player they select to eventually replace Fields
Five weeks into the 2025 NFL season, the New York Jets are the only team in the league who has yet to record a win.
There have been plenty of reasons for their struggles. They are extremely undisciplined, finding themselves among the most-penalized teams in the NFL.
Their defense hasn't performed particularly well. They are currently 31st in points allowed, giving up 31.4 points per game.
The offense's numbers look better as the team is currently 19th in points scored, but that ranking is somewhat fraudulent. 55 of their points have come in fourth quarters of games where the Jets had already fallen behind by at least two touchdowns.

While it's going to take a lot to finally get the organization as a whole on track a recent mock draft has suggested a move that could go a long way toward at least fixing one of the team's problems.
In his latest mock draft, Athlon Sports' Luke Easterling predicted that the Jets would use the first overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft to select Oregon quarterback Dante Moore.
Moore's first season as the Ducks' starting QB couldn't be going much better.
The team is 5-0 and holds a road win over Penn State (which sounded a lot more impressive when it happened). Moore has thrown for 1210 yards and 14 touchdowns with just one interception while completing 74.6% of his passes.
His impressive performances and the team's success currently have him listed as the betting favorite to win the Heisman.
His play could potentially also see him become the first player off the board in April.
The Jets will certainly be looking for a QB they can be confident in when it comes time for them to make their first selection in the 2026 draft as Justin Fields simply hasn't proven that he's the guy.
However, the Jets are probably going to be stuck with Fields next season anyway as he carries $22 million in dead cap space if the Jets release him during the 2026 offseason.
That could make Moore a great fit for the Jets.
Moore will still only be 20 years old during the next NFL Draft and 21 at the start of the 2026 season. He also only played in nine games as a freshman and then threw eight passes as a sophomore.
That could mean whichever team drafts him will need to wait a little while before making Moore their starter. The lengthy struggles of the Jets could be a bit troublesome when it comes to that approach, but having a veteran QB they can't get rid of might make it a bit easier for them to be patient.
The Jets a rough history with drafting QBs, but they may find themselves hoping Moore can break the curse during the 2026 NFL Draft.
