Taylor Swift Sat Behind Bulletproof Barrier at Chiefs vs. Eagles Game for Security

The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles went up against each other on Sunday, September 14, and Taylor Swift was in attendance at the event. Swift, of course, is engaged to Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, so it’s not a surprise that she was there, but her attendance was a bit more low-profile than usual.
Security has been higher throughout the United States, in general, since the Charlie Kirk shooting. Events across the country have been extra careful about security following the fatal shooting, which happened on Thursday, September 11.
Now, a report states that Swift was sitting behind a special, bulletproof barrier when she attended the Chiefs and Eagles game. It makes sense that with increased security across America, one of the county’s most prominent musicians, Swift, would want and need the extra protection. There are specific details about the barrier that have been revealed, too.
The Barrier Taylor Swift Sat Behind at the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles Game
The barrier that Swift was spotted behind at Arrowhead Stadium is “a bullet-resistant portable shield partition that retails for about $6,000,” according to a report from TMZ, which was published on Monday, September 15.
TMZ adds that this theory comes from Swifties, who believe that “Taylor kept an extremely low profile at Sunday’s game between Travis’ Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles” and “was behind a bulletproof barrier that was seen rolling through the bowels of Arrowhead Stadium in K.C.”
The Sun also reported that Swift “hid behind a 7ft “bulletproof” screen on her way to see her fiancé play American football at the weekend.”
It’s good news that Swift and Kelce are both fine after the game and that nothing terrible happened. Well, the Chiefs lost, which was pretty terrible, but at least nothing dangerous happened during the game.
Travis Kelce Got Taylor Swift Into the NFL
One of the benefits of being in a relationship is learning new things based on what your partner knows and their interests, and that’s the case with Kelce and Swift. Ahead of the NFL season starting, Kelce did an interview with GQ magazine and graced the cover of the publication, and he also talked a lot about Swift.
“I get to be the plus one. I get to go and be that fan. Because I am a fan. I’m a fan of music,” he said in the interview. “I’m a fan of art. And it’s so cool that I get to experience her being that plus one for me on the football field…. I feel that same enjoyment every time she comes to my shows.”
Kelce has also made Swift discover and enjoy watching football. “I sort of made her a football fan,” Kelce said. “She is the most engulfed fan now. She knows what the injury reports look like. She understands what special situations are, third and short—all these things because she just naturally loves to hear about my job.”
Let’s hope some of Swift’s luck can rub off on the Kansas City Chiefs heading into their third game of the season. It’s time for them to get a solid win.
