Lions Get Harsh Message From Ben Johnson and Bears After Loss
The Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles had a high-stakes game on Sunday evening, November 16, and it just wasn’t the night for the Lions. The Eagles beat the Lions in a slow-moving, 16-9 game, leaving Dan Campbell and his offensive play calling at the mercy of Philadelphia.

The Detroit Lions had a chance to win this game, but play after play went wrong. Lions quarterback Jared Goff has some of the strongest numbers in the NFL, but during the Eagles game, he had the lowest completion percentage of his career, according to NFL research. Even though Goff threw for 255 yards, he only completed 38 percent of his passes and finished with a passer rating of 60.1. Not that it was all his fault. He wasn’t calling the plays.
Then, Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery also struggled, although Gibbs led Detroit with five receptions for 107 yards. On the defensive side, the Detroit Lions did hold the Eagles, and Aidan Hutchinson finished with four tackles and half a sack.
But, as The Athletic’s Colton Pouncy points out in a piece published on Monday, November 17, the Lions’ loss to the Eagles mean they won’t be able to finished the season at No. 1 in the NFC like they did in 2024. On top of they, they just got a digger from former Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson.
Ben Johnson and the Chicago Bears Lead the Detroit Lions
What a difference a day makes. On Monday, November 17, the Chicago Bears, spearheaded by Johnson, woke up to being the No. 1 team in the NFC North. Their definitive win, with a 19-17 score over the Minnesota Vikings, puts them with a 7-3 record for the season, while the Lions are 6-4. The Lions are actually No. 3, with the Green Bay Packers ahead of them with a 6-3-1 record.
So, Johnson and the Bears have certainly sent the Lions a message by just silently being No. 1. They’re on top, and the Lions better get themselves ready for their rematch on January 4, 2026. Both team’s NFL bye weeks are long gone, they won’t have time to rest before the rematch, either.
As Pouncy from The Athletic notes, “The Lions are 6-4, third in the NFC North and on the outside looking in for the playoff race. This is not where they were expected to be after 11 weeks. They just lost a measuring-stick game against a contender in their conference, and any lingering hope of securing a first-round bye is just about lost after this outing.”
A Bright Light for the Detroit Lions
The Lions still absolutely have potential. Even though a bad game, the Detroit Lions’ linebacker unit was on fire. Jack Campbell finished the contest with 15 tackles and one tackle for loss. Alex Anzalone was also strong and made an impressive play in lockstep with Philadelphia Eagles tight end Kyle Granson on a deep shot.
So, where do the Detroit Lions go from here? Head coach Dan Campbell took over the play calling duties from offensive coordinator John Morton for this game, as he did for the team’s game against the Washington Commanders on November 9. Campbell also says he plans to do so for the rest of the year.
But, after this showing, this writer believes he should absolutely reconsider. Just because he was able to execute against a delated Commanders team, without their franchise quarterback, does not mean he’s equipped to make those calls in a game like the Lions had against the Eagles. #BreakingNews RHOA Star Porsha Williams OFFICIALLY Arrested at Airport 😱

Porsha Williams‘ post-BravoCon 2025 flight back to Atlanta was anything but normal — and may have landed her in hot water with the FBI.

“FBI Atlanta is aware of the incident on the flight,” a spokesperson for FBI Atlanta told Us Weekly in a statement on Monday, November 17. “It is unknown at this time if federal charges will apply. That is all we have at the moment.”
Williams, 44, was reportedly involved in an altercation while on board her Delta Airlines flight from Las Vegas to Atlanta on Sunday, November 16, after attending the three-day Bravo event, according to TMZ.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star was one of two passengers on the flight that Delta crew spoke with as a result of the alleged incident, TMZ reported. Us confirmed that the flight landed without incident, but was met by law enforcement.
According to a video obtained by TMZ, Williams spoke with an officer shortly after deplaning.
Details about what transpired on the flight have not been disclosed. Us Weekly has reached out to Williams’s rep and Delta for comment.
Williams’ flight debacle came after the reality star attended BravoCon in Sin City over the weekend.
The Bravo star was featured during the Saturday, November 15, “Getting Lucky at the Love Hotel” panel alongside The Real Housewives of New York City alum Sonja Morgan and The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Heather Gay, who all teased they would consider starring on the spinoff if it’s greenlit for a second season.
“People know I’m a lover girl, like, I’m a hopeless romantic,” Williams said as to why she is interested in starring on the show. “I think everybody in the world knows I just got divorced [from Simon Guobadia]. Amen to that, so I think that’s why [I was a favorite].”
Season 1 of Love Hotel premiered in March, following single Housewives Shannon Beador, Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby and Luann de Lesseps’ as they tried their hand at dating at a luxurious Mexican resort.

Williams’ love life has been making headlines since February 2024 when she filed for divorce from Guobadia, 61, after 15 months of marriage.
One year later, Us confirmed that Guobadia was detained by ICE at the Stewart Detention Center in Lumpkin, Georgia. According to U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s records, the Nigeria native was being held by Immigration and Customs Enforcement due to overstaying his visa.
Guobadia was declared deportable in 1985 after coming to the United States in 1982. After a brief return to Nigeria, he came back to America in 1986 and once again overstayed his work visa.
Guobadia was arrested in 1987 and pleaded guilty to bank and credit card fraud before being deported back to Nigeria in 1992 following two subsequent arrests. He applied for naturalization in 2016 after reentering the U.S. in 1992, but was denied. He was deported in June but his and Williams’ divorce battle has continued in the U.S.
Following their split, a judge ruled to uphold Williams’ prenuptial agreement with Guobadia, allowing her to live and film RHOA in their $7 million mansion.
Guobadia was also ordered to pay Williams $40,000 per month in spousal support for 14 months. Additionally, Williams was awarded 50 percent of the equity in the property, a 2021 Rolls Royce and various other cars.
Guobadia tried to get the judge to overturn the judgement, but Us confirmed in September that he was unsuccessful.
Williams has since begun dating again, revealing during an October appearance at New York City’s CultureCon, “The people who I’m talking to now … it’s just two, I narrowed it down to two, and he is nice and she is nice.”
Porsha Williams is on the radar of federal authorities ... after allegedly being involved in an incident on a Delta flight.
The incident apparently went down Sunday night on a flight from Las Vegas to Atlanta. In footage, obtained by TMZ, Porsha is seen strutting out of the gate in a fur coat and Uggs --and from the looks of it, she doesn’t seem fazed at all.
The reality star is accompanied by an officer, who she appears to speak with shortly after deplaning.
A spokesperson for FBI Atlanta tells TMZ … "FBI Atlanta is aware of incident on a Delta flight on November 16th allegedly involving Porsha Williams and/or at least one other person. We are looking to see whether any federal charges may or may not apply."
A spokesperson for Delta Airlines tells TMZ ... two customers on the flight were spoken to by cabin crew, and the flight continued on to Atlanta and landed without issue. Law enforcement met the flight upon arrival at ATL.
What exactly happened on Porsha’s flight remains unclear.
Porsha spent the weekend in Las Vegas at BravoCon with her “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast mates … taking part in panels and posing for the cameras.
We reached out to Porsha ... so far, no word back.
