Juliana Pasquarosa Reveals Why She Was ‘Embarrassed’ by Her Breakup with Grant Ellis
Bachelor Nation fans got to know Juliana Pasquarosa on Season 29 of “The Bachelor,” where she fell in love and got engaged to Grant Ellis.
A couple months ago, the two both took to their Instagram pages to confirm they have unfortunately ended their engagement and broken up.
Since then, Juliana has been keeping fans updated with her life online and often hangs out with her friends from Bachelor Nation.
Now, Juliana is opening up on Jason Tartick’s podcast, “Trading Secrets,” about her breakup with Grant and why it was embarrassing.
She admitted, “It’s so odd because I think I was having so much angst about the breakup being announced because I felt oddly embarrassed in the sense that, on my family’s end, we take marriage very seriously. And I just, before even filming, I had this goal I just wanted to make my family proud of who I am when they watch it back. And so that was really hard for me.”
Juliana continued, revealing her family’s reaction to the breakup and what she struggled with during that time.
She shared, “Of course they didn’t judge me and they didn’t find it embarrassing, but that was what I struggled with the most. I really didn’t care what anybody else thought, I was just like I really hope my family’s not upset with me.”
Juliana also confessed what she wishes she and Grant would’ve done differently surrounding their breakup now looking back.
“I mean hindsight’s the best sight,” she said. “I think we did a good job in terms of putting it on our [IG] Story and kind of separating at that point between Grant and I. But you know, I think people wanted an explanation. And I don’t necessarily think that we owe anybody anything, but they did dedicate time to watch it and fall in love with us and our love story and all of that. I think it would’ve been nice to provide some clarity, but I also think that that would’ve been a really hard conversation for Grant and I to have on how do we verbalize it.”
We appreciate Juliana’s honesty and we’re continuing to send our love to both her and Grant as they navigate this new chapter. We wish them both all the best.
