Now, we know what the 40-year old's next move is, as the La Poche Bleue podcast have officially announced that Bergeron will be one of several contributors heading into the 2025/26 campaign.
This will allow Bergeron to give his opinions and a voice to what is happening around the world of hockey throughout the season, and given the experience and the relationships he has with those in the National Hockey League, this could be a very enjoyable experience for fans.
This doesn't rule out the former captain taking a role in a front office or on a coaching staff somewhere now or in the future, but he will simply be one of many former players looking to voice their opinions and give insights on the NHL and the current state of the game.
Ultimately, this will be fantastic for fans that want a deeper look into the league from one of the more respected voices in the sport, so when the season begins, keep an eye out for the former Bruins captain as he prepares for his new career in life after hockey.
