Johnny Manziel Calls Dak Prescott One of the Most Underrated QBs in the NFL
Before Dak Prescott became a household name for the Dallas Cowboys, football fans in Texas adored Johnny Manziel.
Manziel had an incredible career at Texas A&M, winning the Heisman Trophy in 2012 and earning SEC Male Athlete of the Year in 2013. His success at the collegiate level led to him being the No. 22 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Unfortunately, he was unable to thrive on the Cleveland Browns. He finished his career with just 1,675 passing yards, seven touchdowns and seven interceptions.
Prescott, on the other hand, went from a fourth-round pick to the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL. The three-time Pro Bowler currently has 31,986 passing yards and 215 touchdown passes in his career.
Earlier this week, Manziel shared his thoughts on Prescott. He believes the Cowboys quarterback is one of the most underrated players in the NFL.
"Dak is a guy that I think is underrated,"
Manziel added that he has a ton of respect for Prescott as a player and person.
"I love him. Our interactions throughout the year, it's always been a great mutual respect between us. I wouldn't say we know each other on a super personal level, but - just from a two guys in the SEC who played quarterback in the NFL - we always had a great relationship and he's someone I respect a lot."
Manziel and Prescott squared off in the SEC.
Although they didn't have any iconic battles in the NFL, Manziel and Prescott had an epic shootout back on Nov. 9, 2013.
Texas A&M defeated Mississippi State at home 51-41 due to a strong performance from Manziel. He completed 30 of 39 passes for 446 yards with five touchdowns and three interceptions. Prescott, meanwhile, had 149 passing yards, 154 rushing yards and two total touchdowns.
Over a decade later, Prescott is still trying to win shootouts. He led the Cowboys to a 40-37 victory in Week 2.
Kevin Stefanski Sounds Alarm: “Losing Our Pro Bowler Would Be a Major Blow Against the Packers”

As the Cleveland Browns gear up for their highly anticipated Week 3 matchup against the Green Bay Packers, head coach Kevin Stefanski has revealed troubling news: the Browns could be without a key Pro Bowl player, leaving a critical gap in their lineup as they prepare to face the Packers.

“It’s not ideal,” Stefanski admitted. “Losing a Pro Bowler in a game like this is a major blow for us. We’ll be ready to adjust, but it’s going to take everyone stepping up to fill that void.”
The injury, which has yet to be fully disclosed, is leaving a question mark over the availability of one of the Browns’ top performers. As the team prepares for a high-stakes clash with Green Bay, Stefanski knows that the loss of a Pro Bowler could shift the dynamics of their game plan, especially with the Packers looking to continue their dominant run.
On the flip side, Stefanski is keenly aware of the legitimate scare Green Bay faced earlier this week. The Packers’ own injury concerns have added another layer of uncertainty to the matchup, making it a true test of depth and resilience for both teams.
“We’re focused on what we can control,” Stefanski said. “We’ll make sure our guys are prepared, regardless of who’s out there. But make no mistake—this is a pivotal moment for us, and we need everyone locked in.”
With the pressure mounting and stakes high, Stefanski’s leadership will be crucial in navigating the Browns through this potential setback and ensuring that the team remains competitive against the formidable Packers.
