Jets Make Historic Breece Hall Announcement After Patriots Loss
The New York Jets may have lost to the New England Patriots in Week 11, but they still had a clear standout.

Following the 27-14 defeat, the green and white took to social media to congratulate running back Breece Hall.
“Keep climbing, @BreeceH,” the Jets posted on X previously Twitter. The graphic revealed that Hall had eclipsed 3,000 career rushing yards.
Hall toted the rock 14 times for 58 rushing yards. He averaged 4.1 rushing yards per carry. The former Iowa State product also caught two receptions for six receiving yards in the Pats game.
Hall is now 12th in Jets franchise history in career rushing yards (3,055), per Pro Football Reference.
Hall Is Still on Pace for a Career Season in 2025
The Jets may not be having the year they were hoping for, being 2-8 after the first 11 weeks of the season. However, the same can’t be said for Hall.
He has carried the rock 152 times this season, rushing for 722 yards. He has averaged 4.8 rushing yards per carry and has scored two rushing touchdowns.
Through the air, Hall has recorded 24 catches for 226 receiving yards and has scored one receiving touchdown.
There are seven games left for the Jets in the 2025 regular season. If Hall stays on this pace, he will end the year with an exclamation point.
Hall is on pace to carry the ball 258 times for 1,227 rushing yards and score three times. That would set new career highs in carries and rushing yards for the fourth-year tailback.
Those projected totals would also put Hall inside the top 10 of the Jets’ career rushing leaders.
Sometimes the Best Trades You Make Are the Ones You Don’t
The green and white nearly traded Hall in a last-second buzzer-beating deal with the Kansas City Chiefs at the NFL trade deadline. Gang Green wanted a future third-round pick. The Chiefs were only willing to give up a future fourth-rounder.
The deadline came and went; alas, no deal.
Gang Green received some flak on social media for not trading Hall. Especially considering he is in the last year of his rookie contract. Hall is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent in 2026. The fear is that there’s a chance he walks out the door and the Jets receive no compensation.
While that remains a distinct possibility, not trading Hall at the deadline has presented a unique second-chance opportunity.
Instead of trading him to the highest bidder and simply moving on, the Jets now have him for at least the rest of 2025.
That gives them time to ponder, what if we just keep him instead?
According to ESPN NFL Insider Dan Graziano, those are exactly the conversations that have been happening in the building.
“A couple of weeks ago, I would have expected them to deal Hall just to get something in return before he left as a free agent. Now, it feels more possible that they consider bringing Hall back next season, in which case they might be more hesitant to trade him now … This is a long way of saying Hall’s chances of being dealt could go either way, but my sense is that it’s no longer a sure thing,” Graziano explained ahead of the November 4, NFL trade deadline.
Cowboys receive great injury news for one starting offensive lineman

The Dallas Cowboys' injury report heading into their Week 6 matchup with the Carolina Panthers is longer than a CVS receipt.

The Cowboys will be without top players like CeeDee Lamb, Tyler Booker, and KaVontae Turpin. However, the team did get some good news in Thursday's practice.
Starting left tackle Tyler Guyton was a full participant in practice on Thursday. According to Patrik Walker of the official Cowboys website, Guyton revealed that he has officially cleared concussion protocol and should be available this weekend.
Walker asked Guyton if he was craving the action after missing the team's Week win over the New York Jets, to which Guyton responded, "Man, hell yeah!"

This is massive news for an offensive line that had three starters out this past week. It's no secret that left tackle is one of the hardest positions to play. So, the Cowboys getting back the guy they trust in that position is huge.
Tyler Smith has been limited this week, but there's a strong chance he could be in action this week. The Cowboys may be able to squeak by the Panthers with so many injuries. But this many injuries are not sustainable for the long-term success of this team.
Still, any return is great news, and Guyton will be welcomed back with open arms.
