Jets fans are learning what Lions fans already knew about Aaron Glenn
Former Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn has been tasked with changing the culture of a broken New York Jets locker room. Glenn is now in charge of turning around a franchise that has grown ridiculously accustomed to losing, and of helping to revive some part of Justin Fields' quarterback career.
As Lions fans grew to know about Glenn during his time with the team, though, he's a straight shooter. He does not tolerate a lot of grey area in press conferences and in questions from reporters looking to potentially get a "gotcha" moment on tape. Come prepared, and Glenn will be happy to answer your questions.
Come with the intention of sullying some aspect of his team, though, and be prepared to deal with a comeback. That's exactly what Jets fans learned on Wednesday as an interaction between Glenn and a Jets reporter went viral on social media.

Glenn claps back at Jets reporter in a moment Lions fans will be too familiar with
Glenn made a good point in this response to a Jets reporter. It's not all about whether your passing game is elite, but rather, if you have good enough pass and run blocking to open up both pieces to your offense.
However, the Philadelphia Eagles and Jets have a bit of a different situation at quarterback from one another. You can trust Jalen Hurts to make the right decision and an accurate pass - you cannot say the same for Fields.
Still, Glenn has been exactly what the doctor ordered for the Jets so far this offseason and in training camp. While he may not be the most offensively-minded coach the Jets could've hired to revitalize that area of need, he's still the perfect leader and voice to have in a locker room that's chock full of young, hungry talent - sound familiar?
"Overall, in general, we weren't good enough. I don't care if it was the starting offense, I don't care if it was the second team offense, the third team offense," said Glenn in his postgame press conference after the Jets dropped a preseason game to the New York Giants. He's still got kinks to work out when it comes to his play-calling, to be sure, but this year isn't exactly one full of hope for New York.
