Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is set to face one of his former teams on Sunday.

Rodgers and the Steelers will play the Green Bay Packers on NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” in Pittsburgh. This will be a chance for Rodgers to defeat the Packers for the first time. If he does that, he’d become the fifth quarterback in NFL history to beat all 32 NFL teams, joining Tom Brady, Brett Favre, Peyton Manning and Drew Brees.

Rodgers spent the first 18 seasons of his career with the Packers and helped them win Super Bowl XLV over the Steelers in February 2011. Despite no longer being with them, he doesn’t have any hard feelings and even told ESPN’s Brooke Pryor on Wednesday that “absence makes the heart grow fonder.”

Rodgers will try to help the Steelers bounce back from their 33-31 loss against the Cincinnati Bengals last Thursday. They came into that game with a 4-1 record and had an opportunity to get to 5-1 and extend their lead in the AFC North but squandered the opportunity.

The Steelers still lead the AFC North with a 4-2 record, but their schedule is about to get a lot tougher with games against the Packers, Indianapolis Colts and Los Angeles Chargers on the horizon. A win would get the Steelers to 5-2 overall heading into their Nov. 2 game against the Colts, who are 6-1.

Rodgers is off to a strong start this season, compiling 1,270 yards through the air with 14 touchdowns and five interceptions.

Kickoff for Sunday’s contest is set for 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth will have the call.
