Eagles fans' Kevin Patullo hatred takes left turn with wild potential replacement
The calls for a new offensive coordinator to replace Kevin Patullo are loud and clear; however, some Eagles fans may be getting a bit delusional.

Recently, Nick Foles has been going a bit viral within Eagles circles, with a "TikTok" video (that's been repurposed by many accounts) stating what he's done in the past to keep the offense engaged and moving forward.
Some Eagles fans are officially going off the deep end
While Foles has a special place in not only Eagles history but also in the story of the NFL, the knee-jerk reaction to hire and elevate him to such a crucial position seems a bit immature and driven by emotion rather than facts. While calmer heads have taken an analytical approach to the offensive coordinator position, social media is littered with support for the former Super Bowl MVP.
Foles' approach to reinvigorating the offense is pretty simple: have a committee and figure out what the players want to run, scheme-wise. While the approach is simplistic, gathering 11 plus millionaires, with egos in a room, asking their opinions on how to run the offense, probably isn't the best approach in a team that is dealing with several layers of dysfunction.
The Eagles need leadership and direction on the offensive side of the ball right now, which they are receiving little to none from current offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo. While some fans lean on Nick Sirianni to get the offense back on track, the leadership abilities of the Eagles' head coach are even in question with the hiring of his "friend" to one of the coaching staff's most important positions.
Regardless, whether it's an impulse decision of propping up Foles to offensive coordinator for a "spark", or hiring an experienced "analyst", with the Eagles offense struggling, fans will continue to speculate and hope for a change. Whether those claims are warranted or based in reality, well, that's another question in itself.
Commanders Give Strong Message to Raiders’ Maxx Crosby

The Las Vegas Raiders‘ defense was a major question mark heading into the 2025 NFL season. However, the group has been a surprise as they
Maxx Crosby leads the defense, and he’s off on the right foot, recording one sack, seven tackles, two tackles for a loss, and two quarterback hits through two games,

Crosby and Co. will be facing backup quarterback Marcus Mariota in their Week 3 game against the Washington Commanders. The Raiders star will be looking to ruin the opposition’s game plan, and Commanders offensive line coach Bobby Johnson hopes that his group is up to the task of stopping him.
“There’s no one else like him. I remember watching him at Eastern Michigan,” Johnson told reporters on September 19 (h/t Commanders.com). “Slender build, athletic, but he creates leverage, drops his pads, and separates.
“As soon as you press on him, he’s gone. His skill set is almost like martial arts—constantly moving, changing levels, freestyling but making himself right. That makes it hard for offensive linemen because we’re rule-driven, and he breaks those rules.”
How Can Commanders Contain Maxx Crosby?
Johnson stated what makes Crosby one of the better pass rushers in the league and a player who can create havoc for an offense. Nonetheless, the question is, how do they plan to limit the impact that the Raiders star has on the game as they look to secure a win without their starting quarterback, Jayden Daniels?
So you have to reduce it to the simplest terms: what’s the leverage of the play?” Johnson added. “If you do your job with leverage, you eliminate other factors. That’s something I had to learn as a coach—not to overload players with every detail, but reduce the problem.
“With Max, there’s no play off. He plays almost every snap. You just have to make him work every single play and hope you can take something out of him for later.”
The Raiders’ Defense Are Ready to Face the Commanders
Throughout the week, the Raiders’ defense had no idea who they would be facing under center for the Commanders. Nonetheless, Las Vegas wasn’t about to take any risks with the uncertainty surrounding their opponent.
Head coach Pete Carroll said the team spent the week preparing for Mariota along with Daniels, who was eventually ruled out for Week 3.
“We’ve talked about both guys playing all week long and we’ve looked at film of both guys all week long,”
“This is a winning football club and, you know, [Dan Quinn] turned it around in no time. He had a great season last year, so they have a winning mentality and will be tough at home. That’s all we need to do—go play our game. That’s the challenge.”
