Cowboys Send 2-Word Message to Dak Prescott in Dramatic Win
For Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, Sunday’s game against the Eagles represented a chance pull his team back to .500, which is still something of a disappointment here in late November, but still an impressive turnaround for a team that is facing a gauntlet of difficult opponents ahead. Philadelphia, the top seed in the NFC coming in at 8-2, certainly was at the top of that list.

And Prescott led the Cowboys to a remarkable comeback win, erasing a 21-0 halftime deficit to push to a 24-21 win and keep Dallas’ playoff hopes alive.
It was also a personal triumph for Prescott, who was a bit of an afterthought when the Cowboys used a fourth-round pick on him as a dual-threat quarterback out of Mississippi State in 2016. He took over the Cowboys job, though, and has been among the league’s best ever since.
On Sunday, in fact, he took his spot as the franchise’s best. Prescott entered the game 160 yards short of the all-time Cowboys passing yardage lead, behind Tony Romo, but with a convincing 354-yard performance, he etched his name atop the Cowboys’ all-time leaders.
Cowboys Give Dak Prescott a Nod
During the game, in which Prescott went for three touchdowns, including one on an acrobatic run, the Cowboys sent Prescott a message.
“Congrats, Dak,” the team wrote on Twitter/X, simply.

Even at age 32, the Cowboys have been getting the best out of Prescott, at least in the past two weeks. On Monday in Las Vegas, he threw for four touchdowns to lead an impressive, 33-16 victory. And on Sunday, he threw for for the second-most yards he’s had all season.
It doesn’t get easier for Prescott and the Cowboys, though, as they next must take on the Chiefs on Thanksgiving, just four days away.
Dak Prescott ‘Humbled’ by Record
Prescott addressed the notion of setting the new Cowboys mark this week, and while working his team back into the playoff picture is still his priority, he did acknowledge the significance of the record.
“I am humbled,” Prescott said of the record. “Thankful to be healthy and to be in this position to do it. I was on a production call earlier and they asked me the same thing, would I have thought this 10 years ago. And I said, yeah, I was very arrogant as a rookie.
“If you’re playing this game long enough and you can stay healthy, with my expectations of what my play is, that’s supposed to happen. Just thankful, humble, and super-grateful to be playing the game I love at this high a level. I look forward to keep going.”
Will Campbell’s knee injury raises concerns for Patriots' playoff push, MRI scheduled

Will Campbell exited the New England Patriots’ win on Sunday. Head coach Mike Vrabel did not offer an update on the left tackle’s status after the game, but further testing is forthcoming.

Campbell suffered a knee injury during New England’s Week 12 contest. The first-round rookie was ultimately carted off the field and did not return to the game. Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio reports an MRI will take place Monday. More on Campbell’s situation will be known at that point.
Losing the No. 4 pick for any extended period would deal a major blow to the Patriots’ offensive line. Upgrading that unit was understood inside and outside the organization to be a major offseason priority ahead of Vrabel’s first year at the helm. He and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels have enjoyed a stellar campaign to date, with New England’s offense playing a major role in that regard. The team entered Sunday ranked sixth in the NFL in scoring.
The development of second-year quarterback Drake Maye has been a central storyline for the Patriots in 2025. His play (and that of the team, of course) will be greatly impacted in the event Campbell misses any significant time. The LSU product was — as expected — the top lineman selected in April’s draft. Upon entering the league, he faced concerns related to arm length. Campbell has worked exclusively on the blindside, though, ranking 27th amongst offensive tackles in PFF grade entering Sunday’s game.
With a win over the Cincinnati Bengals, the Patriots sit at 10-2 on the year. The AFC leaders will look to maintain their strong showing down the stretch and into the playoffs, but Campbell’s status will be worth watching given his importance to the team. Fourth-year blocker Vederian Lowe filled in after Campbell went down, likely leaving him in line to start in Week 13 if necessary.
