Cowboys Pushing to Land Projected $133 Million Star in Blockbuster NFL Trade: Report
The Dallas Cowboys continue to be linked to star players throughout the league in the final hours of the NFL trade deadline. Dallas already struck a trade with the Cincinnati Bengals for linebacker Logan Wilson.
Could another deal be in the works before the 4 p.m. Eastern deadline? On Monday, owner Jerry Jones hinted that Dallas was working on three separate trades, but the team’s 27-17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals could squash this notion.
The Cowboys are 3-5-1 heading into a bye week, and there does not appear to be one trade (or even three deals) that will save Dallas’ season. It is still worth keeping an eye on what the Bengals do with 4-time Pro Bowl pass rusher Trey Hendrickson.

Could the Cowboys and Bengals strike one more deal? Let’s dive into the latest Cowboys news and rumors at the NFL trade deadline.
Cowboys Rumors: ‘Phones Are Buzzing’ About More Potential NFL Trades
NFL insider Jordan Schultz hinted that Dallas is considering more potential moves. It remains to be seen if the latest Cowboys loss puts a damper on potential trade plans.
“Will there be more for the Cowboys….?” Schultz noted in a November 4, message on X. “Trade deadline is today at 4 ET. Phones are buzzing.”
Cowboys Trade Rumors: Dallas Has Explored a Potential Deal for Bengals Pass Rusher Trey Hendrickson
On the eve of the trade deadline, Schultz provided an overview of the Cowboys’ search for defenders. Hendrickson is one of the players who Dallas has kicked the tires on a potential deal.
“Sources: The Cowboys have held trade discussions with multiple teams regarding defensive players — believed to be focused on pass rushers and linebackers — and the expectation is that at least one deal will be finalized by Tuesday, as owner Jerry Jones hinted today,” Schultz remarked in a series of X messages on November 3.
“My understanding is the Cowboys have spoken to the Bengals on DE Trey Hendrickson and LB Logan Wilson, and to the Dolphins on OLB Bradley Chubb. They’ve had talks with other teams as well. ‘At least one deal is getting done somewhere,’ a source said.”
Potential Cowboys Trade Target Trey Hendrickson’s Market Value Is Projected To Be a 4-Year, $133 Million Contract
Hendrickson and the Bengals have been in a standoff regarding his longterm future. The star finally agreed to a restructured one-year, $29 million deal to play in 2025. Unless the Bengals use the franchise tag, Hendrickson will be a free agent in 2025.
Spotrac projects Hendrickson’s market value to be a four-year, $133 million contract. Will the Cowboys be willing to give up significant draft capital while also signing the pass rusher to lucrative new deal? Time will tell.
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that the Cowboys are among the “interested teams” in Hendrickson. Dallas would likely be looking at giving up a high day 2 draft pick to land Hendrickson, if Cincinnati opts to part ways with the Pro Bowler.
“Up to this point, the Bengals have rebuffed trade inquiries, and sources have maintained that Cincinnati has no plans to trade Hendrickson right now,” Fowler wrote in an October 29, story titled, “NFL Week 9 latest buzz, trade deadline questions, news.” “The Cowboys and 49ers are among the interested teams, though San Francisco made a move for a pass rusher Tuesday night.”
Ravens’ $56M Starter Named ‘Player to Watch’ at Trade Deadline

The Baltimore Ravens are in a tricky position at the 2025 NFL trade deadline, as they could both look to add — and subtract — before the buzzer.
The Ravens appeared to have saved their season with two straight wins, including a wildly impressive performance by quarterback Lamar Jackson in Week 9. They’ve already shown a willingness to add by trading for Dre’Mont Jones from Tennessee, but could they also move a longtime starter and franchise legend before Tuesday afternoon?
The Athletic listed tight end Mark Andrews as a player to watch ahead of the 4 p.m. ET trade deadline, suggesting the Ravens could trade the franchise cornerstone as part of pre-deadline deck shuffling.

“The Ravens looked good in Lamar Jackson’s return on Thursday, and Andrews was a beneficiary, reeling in a couple of touchdowns,” The Athletic’s Saad Yousuf wrote. “But the veteran tight end is in a contract year and there are other tight ends on the roster who have proven to be capable in the offense.”
Will Ravens Trade Mark Andrews Before NFL Trade Deadline?
Interestingly enough, this isn’t the first time Andrews has been named as a potential trade chip ahead of the deadline. Yousuf’s colleague at The Athletic, Mike Jones, named Andrews one of his top players to watch, suggesting in mid-October that Baltimore could move him as part of a sell-off.
“Baltimore has started offloading pieces in exchange for cap space, such as pass-rusher Odafe Oweh,” he wrote on Oct. 16. “Tight end is a spot where Baltimore has some depth with Isaiah Likely now healthy again. Could Andrews, who is in the final year of his contract, be on the move?”
Of course, things have changed since then. Jones noted at the time that the Ravens were 1-5. They’ve since won two in a row, and despite an unsightly 3-5 record, they’re the odds-on betting favorite to win the AFC North. There’s certainly an argument to be made that Baltimore should hold on to Andrews, even though he’s in the final year of a $56 million contract. As he showed in Week 9 against the Dolphins, he’s still one of Jackson’s favorite targets, and if there’s a run to be made for that elusive Super Bowl title, having Andrews in the fold isn’t a bad thing.
Ravens’ Depth Chart Reset: Is Mark Andrews Expendable?
Ultimately, it might come down to how comfortable the Ravens are with their depth chart behind Andrews at the tight end position. Isaiah Likely is finally healthy, but has made a limited impact since returning with just eight catches for 86 yards in five games.
There’s also Charlie Kolar, who has made the most of limited opportunities, especially in recent weeks. The 2022 fourth-round pick out of Iowa State has just six catches this season, but two have gone for touchdowns, with each of those scores coming in the last two weeks.
As for what it might cost for a team to land Andrews, that’s up in the air. Ravens beat reporter Jeff Zrebeic way back in March suggested Andrews could be traded, and when a follower asked if a fourth-round pick would get it done, Zrebiec hinted that Baltimore would likely want more.
Of course, that calculus has likely changed, as the price of business in the offseason compared to the trade deadline is often quite different.
