BREAKING NEWS: Jordan Love Leads $30 Million Fundraiser for Texas Flood Victims
"Football is important, but helping others is what truly matters. We’ve raised $30 million, but what’s even more important is showing Texas that they’re not alone. We’re here to support them every step of the way."
— Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers Quarterback
In a heartwarming display of leadership, Jordan Love, the young quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, has led an incredible $30 million fundraising campaign
Love’s Leadership on and off the Field
While Jordan Love has been making waves as the Packers’ new starting quarterback, it’s his off-field leadership that is drawing even more praise. Taking a stand for the people of Texas, Love has used his platform to rally fans, athletes, and the entire NFL community to contribute to this vital cause. “When a disaster hits, it’s not just about waiting for help—it’s about stepping up and being part of the solution. That’s why we’re doing everything we can to support Texas,” Love said during the campaign announcement.
The funds raised will help provide emergency shelter, food, medical supplies, and long-term recovery support, including rebuilding homes and restoring vital infrastructure. Love’s dedication to helping those in need has united the NFL family and inspired fans across the country to get involved.
NFL Community Rallies Around the Cause
Jordan Love’s fundraising efforts quickly gained traction, with numerous Packers teammates, fellow NFL players, and even fans making significant contributions. Many athletes, using their platforms and networks, have helped bring in donations, showing just how much the NFL community is willing to do for a cause greater than the game itself.
"Seeing so many people come together to help out is a reminder of what we’re capable of when we put our hearts into it," Love said. "This is about more than just money; it’s about showing the people of Texas that they’re not forgotten."
Where the $30 Million Will Go
The $30 million raised will be allocated toward immediate relief efforts, such as providing food, water, and medical assistance to those affected. It will also help fund long-term rebuilding projects, including repairing homes, restoring schools, and providing resources to local organizations working to rebuild communities. Love and his team are committed to ensuring that the funds are directed where they’re needed most, making a tangible difference in the lives of those struggling to recover.
Love’s Impact Beyond the Field
While Jordan Love’s career as a quarterback is just beginning, his work off the field is already leaving a profound impact. His leadership and commitment to helping those in need will be remembered far beyond his achievements on the football field. The $30 million raised is a monumental amount, but it’s Love’s passion and determination to help others that have truly made a difference.
“The most important thing we can do right now is show that we’re here for Texas,” Love said, echoing the sentiment that this campaign is about more than just financial contributions. “When a community is in need, we need to be the ones who answer the call.”
Looking Ahead
As Texas continues to recover, the funds raised by Jordan Love and his teammates will continue to provide essential aid. The Packers quarterback’s leadership has set an example for others in the NFL and beyond, demonstrating that athletes can make a difference in ways that go beyond the field of play.
Tennessee Titans clearly already regret making bold NFL Draft trade

The Tennessee Titans entered the 2025 NFL Draft without a third-round pick as a result of the previous regime's trade for L'Jarius Sneed. New general manager Mike Borgonzi was tasked with rebuilding a last-place squad. Understandably, he was interested in recouping that third-round selection.
Borgonzi took advantage of that opportunity when it arose. Borgonzi traded the No. 35 overall selection to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for Nos. 52 and 82.
After moving back, the Titans drafted former UCLA EDGE Femi Oladejo in the second round. With the bonus third-round pick, Borgonzi landed safety Kevin Winston Jr. You have to wonder if the Titans regret their draft-day trade.
Titans haven't maximized bold 2025 NFL Draft trade
The Titans knew Oladejo was a developmental prospect coming out of college. Despite that, they drafted him into a lackluster EDGE-rushing room that needed immediate production. That forced Oladejo to play right away, and the results have been predictably disappointing.
Entering Week 5, Oladejo has registered just five quarterback pressures and zero sacks. His Pro Football Focus pass-rushing grade of 54.5 is the worst score among their EDGEs. That ranks 131st out 165 qualifying defensive ends.
Meanwhile Winston Jr., the second player acquired in the draft-day trade with the Seahawks, hasn't made his NFL debut yet. Winston Jr. was coming off a partially torn ACL at Penn State last season. The Titans possibly mismanaged his return-to-work timeline, with soreness becoming an issue after his early participation at training camp. He's missed all four regular-season contests to date.
Some of the players drafted between the Titans' original selection (No. 35) and their eventual Oladejo pick include productive rookies such as Will Johnson, Donovan Ezeiruaku, and Luther Burden III. All three play premium positions of need.
The rebuilding Titans needed additional draft capital. That made the trade-down with the Seahawks a worthwhile exercise. But the key to deeming that move a success or failure is how the players selected end up performing. The Titans are currently asking too much of Oladejo, and we haven't seen Winston Jr. yet.
The Titans need to start getting more production out of Borgonzi's Day Two picks.
