Broncos QB Bo Nix Gets Candid About Win Over Cowboys

Nix spent much of his postgame presser praising his Broncos teammates for their efforts. He also called their showing a “really good performance.” However, he said he was “glad” to field one question about whether or not he ever feels the need to prove himself.
Nix said that he is “fortunate” to be a vocal leader for the team, but that his “theme” for the day was remembering that he was playing “for an audience of one.”
The deeply religious QB also said he spread that message to his teammates throughout the game.
Nix told reporters on October 26, “I really was focusing on not worrying about what other people think, not worrying about proving it to this, not worrying about proving it to my family, my friends, not really even the team. I go out there each and every day, play for an audience of one. I feel like I’m in a great spot. Jesus has given me this ability to go out there and do what I’m passionate about, and really grateful for that.
“Salvation belongs to him. And so, I don’t have to go around worrying about what other people think. Doing this for a reporter, or a stat, or a player, or a game, or anything – an opponent. I can just go out there and be me and just focus on my abilities and what I can do to get better, and how I can honor the Lord with my platform. And over, and, over, and over, we just reminded the guys today that, ‘You’re playing for an audience of one. It doesn’t matter what other people think. You’ve already won.’”
Nix has never hidden his religiousness, sporting crosses on his wrist bands and even thigh pads during games. That he leaned on that and spread it to his teammates should come as little surprise.
“Salvation belongs to the Lord,” Nix said. “When this silly life is done, and the game of football’s over, I’m going to heaven, and I feel very confident in that.”
While Nix was sharing his message, the Broncos shared one about him.

Nix’s conviction led to more than just a big day on the field for the Broncos against the Cowboys in Week 8.
It also further cemented his place among two franchise legends.
“@BoNix10 joined HOF QBs Peyton Manning & John Elway as the only QBs in Broncos history with 3+ wins with 4+ passing touchdowns. [applause emoji],” the Broncos social media team posted
Nix had a historic rookie season for the Broncos, setting franchise marks for, among others, passing yards and touchdowns.

Broncos head coach Sean Payton spoke candidly about believing his team could have a big game against the Cowboys. The Cowboys entered the contest beset by injuries. They also suffered more in their secondary during the loss.
However, that did not stop Payton from offering strong praise for Nix postgame.
Payton even explained away the QB’s interception, saying that Nix’s “feet got away from him” on the turnover.
“But he bounced right back,” Payton told media members about his hand-picked franchise quarterback, whom the Broncos selected with the No. 12 pick of the 2024 draft. “He was magnificent. He was he was outstanding.”
Up next, Nix and the Broncos will visit the Houston Texans in Week 9.
BREAKING: Tucker Kraft makes crazy Packers history with unstoppable performance against Steelers

The good times keep on rolling for Tucker Kraft and the Green Bay Packers. On Sunday, Green Bay spoiled Aaron Rodgers’ mission to beat his former team, as the Packers took down the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium to the tune of a 35-25 score.
Kraft, who dealt with a knee issue earlier this season, had a big role in Green Bay’s fifth win in the 2025 NFL campaign. The former South Dakota State Jackrabbits star repeatedly tormented the Steelers’ defense on his way to a historic evening in Pittsburgh.

Kraft got down to work early for the Packers, as he scored the game’s first touchdown. He took a pass from quarterback Jordan Love with just a little over five minutes left in the opening quarter and took it to the house for a 16-yard score.
He did more than just that, as Kraft also made tight end history in the same game.
“Tucker Kraft is the only TE in GB history w/ 300+ rec yds & 4+ rec TD through first 6 games 🫡,” shared NFL+ on X, formerly Twitter during the first quarter of the contest.
Overall, Kraft lit up the Steelers’ defense for 143 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He did all that efficiently, as he caught seven of nine targets to lead the way downfield for Green Bay, which has now recorded three wins in a row since a bye in Week 5.
