Are Kim Buike & Faith Martin Still Together After ‘Bachelor in Paradise’?
Kim Buike and Faith Martin were sent home on the August 11 episode of Bachelor in Paradise. The men had the roses, and the remaining cast members had to vote for which guy wouldn’t get a rose to hand out.
In the end, it was Kim who received the most votes, and since he was coupled up with Faith, they were eliminated. But since then, they’ve given updates on where they stand now. Scroll down for everything we know about their elimination and what we know about where they stand now.
Are Kim Buike and Faith Martin still together?
No, Kim and Faith are no longer together. He confirmed in September that they called it quits. “Faith and I genuinely connected in Costa Rica but we have since realized that we are not each other’s person,” Kim replied to an Instagram commenter. “We are not a couple but we remain good friends and continue to root for each other’s happiness.”
One month prior, though, Kim and Faith hinted that they were giving their relationship a shot in the real world! On August 14, Faith posted an Instagram video of the two singing. Kim had his hand on her leg. A photo of the couple with Faith’s family also flashed in the clip. “Good times with family and sweet new friends! #liveyourbestlife,” she captioned the post.
Fellow Season 10 contestant Jessica Edwards confirmed that it was a “hard launch” in the comments section. Kim and Faith are both from Washington state, so it seemed promising that this could work out!
“This has been an amazing experience,” Kim said when he and Faith left Paradise. “Faith is a wonderful lady. I’ve obviously enjoyed getting to know her, and we’ve both agreed that we’ve already established a very strong connection, and we’ll work on it outside of here.”
Faith added, “I’m leaving with personal growth, always. It’s been such a journey being open to finding out more about Kim and then finding out, ‘Wow, He’s really a remarkable person,’ and realizing what a catch he is. The quality of person that he is is absolutely amazing.”
The day after their elimination aired, Kim shared a fan edit of his love story with Faith on Instagram and commented, “So many sweet moments and memories!”
Why were Kim Buike and Faith Martin eliminated?
The pair’s elimination came after Kim suffered a bit of a health issue earlier in the week. He explained to Faith that he was having “weird heart s**t.” An EKG determined that the retired Navy captain’s heart rate was “not regular” and “completely erratic” with “extra beats.”
However, a second test the following day showed that things “looked a lot better.” Kim was advised to wear a heart monitor to track his heart rate after that, but assured Faith that he was fine.
Still, many of the younger contestants, who were having trouble deciding who to vote for, used Kim’s medical problems as an excuse to send him home. Others also felt that his connection with Faith wasn’t genuine because he had also previously pursued both Leslie Fhima and April Kirkwood on the beach.
Following Keith and Faith’s elimination, only one Golden couple remained on the show: Kathy Swarts and Keith Gordon. The two made it clear that their relationship is platonic, but Kathy has also pointed out that love at their age comes in many different forms, which is why she’s interested in still spending time with Keith in Costa Rica. They ended up orchestrating themselves being voted off just a few episodes later.
Robert Irwin Teaches Witney Carson Aussie Slang in Hilarious ‘DWTS’ Video

Robert Irwin is already bringing plenty of laughs to the “Dancing With the Stars” ballroom, even before Season 34 kicks off.
The 21-year-old wildlife conservationist recently shared a hilarious Instagram video where he put his pro partner, Witney Carson, to the test on Australian slang, leaving fans in stitches over her guesses and his spot-on American accent.
‘What a Ripper!’
Irwin posted the video on Sunday, September 7, with the caption, “Putting @witneycarson’s Aussie knowledge to the test! What a ripper! 😂”
In the video, Irwin gives Carson, 31, some type of Aussie slang term. Carson then has to guess what that slang term means.
“Now, we’ve been doing rehearsals for like what, a week?” Robert said to Witney. “You would know that I have a lot of Australian slang that I come out with. I thought today we would test your knowledge.”
A ‘DWTS’ Fail
While Carson has had success in the ‘DWTS’ ballroom, she definitely wasn’t having any success with this Aussie slang challenge.
The first word was “arvo,” which she guessed meant “cool.” Irwin laughed as he revealed it means “afternoon.”
Next up is “dunny,” which Witney guessed meant “done.” However, Robert Irwin revealed that it meant “toilet.” She did get one correct, finally, when guessing that “fair dinkum” meant “that’s true.”
The wrong guesses continued, as “chuck a Uey” does not mean throw a frisbee, like Carson thought. Instead, it means “do a U-turn.” She also missed “ute” being a pickup truck, but was correct in saying that “ripper” means cool.
In Australian slang, “cactus” means something that isn’t working, which Witney got wrong.
She did finish strong, as she correctly explained the meaning of “true blue.” Carson said, “Like, you’re a true friend, you’re a true guy, you’re a true person.”
Video Leaves ‘DWTS’ Fans Cracking Up
After Irwin shared the video with his followers, they were cracking up after the lesson in Aussie culture. Many of his followers got a kick out of Robert saying “arvo” with an American accent.
One follower said, “Hearing Robert imitate an American accent has me cracking up!! 😂.”
Another person asked, “Can we please have more of Robert talking with an American accent??😂😂😂🙌🏻.”
Someone else added, “Ok but his mocking American accent is on point tho.”
It seems like “Bluey” helped a lot of his followers out. One person said, “My 7 yo knew ‘dunny’ because he learned it from bluey 🤣,” and another added, “As the mom of a Bluey obsessed 4yo, I’m proud of myself. 😂”
Of course, fans were quick to show their love and predictions for this season 34 couple. One fan said, “Oh they are SO winning this 🔥,” and another follower said, “I’m rooting and voting for them all the way!!!”
