Aaron Judge Signs $20 Million Deal with Netflix for Documentary Series on His Legendary Rise to MLB Stardom
Aaron Judge is about to step into a new spotlight, but this time, it’s not on the diamond. The New York Yankees slugger has inked a groundbreaking $20 million deal with Netflix to produce a 6-episode series chronicling his rise from a small-town California kid to one of Major League Baseball's biggest superstars. The series will not only highlight Judge’s journey to greatness but also give fans an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the sacrifices, struggles, and triumphs that shaped him into the player he is today.
The series, set to premiere in 2025, promises to go far beyond the standard sports documentary. It will delve deep into the raw, emotional journey that turned Aaron Judge into a household name, offering a unique portrait of the man behind the towering home runs and the unshakable presence at the plate. For fans of the game and the man, it’s going to be an up-close, personal exploration of what it truly takes to become one of the greatest to ever play the game.
From the dusty batting cages of Linden, California, where Judge’s passion for baseball first took root, to the bright lights of Yankee Stadium, the series promises to cover every aspect of Judge’s rise. For those who may only know him as the face of the Yankees or the man who set the American League home run record in 2022, the documentary will shine a light on the journey that’s defined him. Viewers will get to see the years of hard work, the struggles with self-doubt, and the determination that carried him through countless obstacles to reach the pinnacle of the sport.
But beyond the highlights and the records, this series will explore Judge’s internal battle—his resilience in the face of injury, the moments of uncertainty, and the sacrifices he made to reach the top. It’s a look at how the quiet, humble kid from the Central Valley of California turned into a dominant force in one of the toughest sports leagues in the world. The series will also give fans a glimpse of Judge’s personal life, his interactions with family, teammates, and coaches, and his unwavering commitment to the game.
The show will be more than just an exploration of Aaron Judge’s career; it will be a testament to the power of persistence and self-belief. It will be a story of a player who, from a young age, was told he wasn’t big enough, fast enough, or good enough. Yet, despite the doubts, he went on to rewrite the record books, silencing critics and becoming a true baseball icon in the process. The series will undoubtedly resonate with fans not only of baseball but also those who appreciate a good underdog story.
Fans can expect a series filled with heart, grit, and glory—offering a front-row seat to the evolution of a player who changed the game. From his early struggles at Fresno State to his explosive debut with the Yankees and eventual MVP-caliber seasons, every chapter of Judge’s story will unfold on screen in ways that will make viewers feel like they’ve never seen Aaron Judge quite like this before.
With this massive deal, Judge joins a growing list of athletes turning their sports careers into cinematic storytelling, following in the footsteps of figures like LeBron James and Tom Brady. This series will further cement Judge’s status as not just a player on the field, but a true cultural icon. It’s a game-changer for the athlete and for sports documentaries, offering a deep dive into the relentless work ethic and perseverance that defines the modern-day legend.
Set to hit Netflix in 2025, the Aaron Judge documentary series is bound to capture the attention of fans worldwide, providing an inspiring glimpse into the making of one of the most dominant players of his generation.
Taylor Swift Set to Attend Chiefs’ Season Opener in Brazil Amid Kelce’s Controversial Comments
The Kansas City Chiefs take on the Chicago Bears for their preseason finale on Friday, August 22. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid revealed his starters will start, including tight end Travis Kelce.
The Chiefs-Bears matchup marks Kansas City’s only preseason game at Arrowhead Stadium, and fans will keep an eye out for Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, as the pop star only attended home games last season. Swift did not attend the first two preseason games; however, Kelce didn’t play in either of those exhibition matchups.
With the “Eras Tour” behind her, Swift is expected to be at “as many of his games as possible,” a source told People in June.
“Taylor is really looking forward to the upcoming NFL season. Not just because she loves supporting Travis, but because for the first full season since they started dating, she’s not juggling a packed tour schedule.
“This fall will be completely different. It’s the first season where she’s not constantly flying back and forth or working around an entire touring calendar.”
The 35-year-old singer remains incredibly busy. During the 14-time Grammy winner’s appearance on Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast last week, Swift announced her next album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” will be released on October 3.

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce Issued a Formal Apology After Describing Playing In Brazil As ‘Miserable’

While an AFC West international showdown may sound exciting for many players, Kelce appeared less than thrilled discussing the game during the May 14 episode of “New Heights.”
“There’s just something about getting close to the equator, I don’t want to put on a football uniform. I’ve been in Jacksonville in September, that’s [expletive] miserable,” he explained to his brother, Jason Kelce. “I’d rather it be dry than humid, I’m a sweaty guy. If it is humid, I am going to be miserable. But we’re going to find a way to get a win.”
Predicting he’ll sweat through his uniform, “I am going to have to ask the equipment guys for a couple of jerseys, maybe three pairs of pants. Maybe four cleats, I might just go through a pair.”
A week later, Kelce apologized if his comments about playing in Brazil were misconstrued. “I’m a furry son of the [expletive]. Me and heat just don’t do well together,” Kelce clarified. “So I apologize if it came off that I’m not excited about this. I’m still excited. I’m just going to be doing some wardrobe changes throughout the game.
“Shout-out to everybody down in Brazil. Can’t wait to get down there. Sorry if it came off as I’m not excited, because I am. We got a huge challenge with the Los Angeles Chargers, baby.”
