Ashley Darby is officially moving on — and she’s manifesting love in a big way.
The “Real Housewives of Potomac” star revealed that she’s seeing someone new and hinted that her latest romance could turn serious.

During an exclusive interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Darby, 36, shared that she’s dating a “very private” man who “works in politics.”
“Well, as I am now officially divorced, I feel like I can actually start thinking about marriage to someone else,” she said. “You know, like a real marriage and not just playing house. Like I was doing for a while. So, I think that I am manifesting at least getting engaged in 2026, and hopefully a marriage by 2027. If it all happens in 2026, perfect. But, at least an engagement next year.”
Darby, who finalized her divorce from ex-husband Michael Darby earlier this year, joked that she now has a “friend” she’s seeing — someone outside the spotlight. “Hopefully I will be able to have something concretely very soon,” she teased.

Fans have watched Darby’s journey unfold over the past few seasons of “RHOP,” including her separation from Michael, with whom she shares two sons: Dean, 6, and Dylan, 4.
At the “RHOP” Season 10 premiere event, she told Entertainment Tonight that the divorce wasn’t exactly cause for celebration but ultimately brought her peace. “Neither of us were super happy,” she said. “It’s actually amazing that I’m taking on this next chapter of life with so much more confidence.”
She continued, “Before I was separated, I just didn’t know what life on this side was gonna look like, and I was so scared. I was like, ‘Am I ready for this? Am I making a mistake? Are my kids gonna be OK?’ … But now your girl is sleeping peacefully.”
Darby announced in February that her divorce had been finalized nearly three years after their separation. “Never did I imagine when I started this journey on “RHOP” that I’d eventually end my marriage,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “I really made those vows with the purest heart and truest bliss. But alas — life had other plans. So like the nature of news, I’m rolling with the times and writing new headlines.”

Since separating from Michael, Darby has been open about re-entering the dating scene — and the reality TV star hasn’t shied away from sharing her experiences with Bravo fans. She previously dated “Summer House” alum Luke Gulbranson in 2022 and was later linked to “Love Hotel” contestant Ralph, though that relationship fizzled after filming.
More recently, she was “casually dating” Josh Gudenburr, whom she met on Season 9 of “RHOP” during a speed-dating event with co-star Gizelle Bryant.
Now, Darby says she’s ready for something lasting — and maybe even another trip down the aisle. With her signature optimism, she’s looking toward the future with confidence.
As for whether fans will meet her mysterious new beau on “The Real Housewives of Potomac,” Darby is keeping that under wraps — at least for now.
