Whitney Leavitt Sparks Buzz About a Potential Disney Project After ‘DWTS’ Semifinal Send-Off
“Mormon Wives” star Whitney Leavitt may have danced her final number on “Dancing with the Stars” season 34, but her spotlight is far from dimming. Fresh off her surprising semifinal elimination and her recent Broadway announcement, Leavitt has fans buzzing again with her most recent TikTok video where she hints at an exciting Disney collaboration.

Leavitt to Make Her Broadway Debut
Though she didn’t end up winning the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy this year, Leavitt will be making her Broadway debut in the Tony-winning revival of “Chicago” next year at the Ambassador Theatre. Much like fellow “DWTS” season 32 contestant, Ariana Madix, Leavitt will also be stepping into the role of Roxie Hart on February 2, 2026, for a limited engagement through March 15.
The Utah mom took to her Instagram on Monday, December 1 to drop the exciting news.
“Grateful beyond words to ANNOUNCE that I will be joining @chicagomusical in the iconic role of Roxie Hart 💕 beginning Feb.2nd 2026! See you in New York City!” she wrote in the caption of her post, which featured Leavitt sitting in a chair, aptly dressed in Roxie Hart attire for the occasion.
Leavitt Teases Another Upcoming Project
Leavitt posed behind a desk while lip-syncing to a popular TikTok sound from Disney Channel actress Debby Ryan, who had a quote from one of her older interviews go viral.
“My one thing was I went into the Disney Channel building and I sat down with the president of Disney Channel and I said, ‘I want to make history.’ And that’s what this is,” Ryan had said, and Leavitt repeated before the camera panned further away to reveal that she was standing behind a “Disney/ABC Television” sign.
“I wasn’t gunna post this yet.. but I’m JUST TOO EXCITED!” Leavitt wrote in the caption of her video.
After such a momentous week for Leavitt, fans were delighted to see the star teasing yet another new project, and they couldn’t help but speculate as to what it might be in the comments.
“Anastasia isn’t Disney! Butttt Hercules?? Whitney as Meg?!” one user commented on TikTok. Leavitt liked this comment and responded with, “👀”
Another fan wrote, “Live action Anastasia??” and Leavitt liked that comment as well.
Some fans were expressing their hopes for Leavitt to expand her acting to films. “Whitney, you need to be the next Christmas hallmark movie girl,” someone else wrote, causing Leavitt to reply with, “😏”
Fans will be anxiously waiting until Leavitt is able to reveal more details. She liked a comment that said, “what does this mean?? I’m so excited without even knowing, but tell us more, please ❤” which hopefully means all will be revealed soon.
Xochitl Gomez Gives Relationship Status Update Amid Robert Irwin Romance Rumors

Dancing with the Stars is over, and conservationist and zookeeper Robert Irwin has been crowned the champion. Fans and friends are over the moon, including his one-time dance partner and friend (and potentially more?), actress and former DWTS champion

Xochitl Gomez has said she is “single” despite rumors suggesting she and Robert Irwin are dating
Xochitl was among the many celebrities and well-wishers who attended the DWTS finale. She was among those cheering Robert and Witney to their well-deserved victory.
She was stopped for an interview with DWTS pro Jan Ravnik before the finale, and she gave some clarity on her current relationship status.
When asked if she was single, she laughed and answered, “Yes, I am. I am. Yes, I am.” When someone off-camera asked who she hoped would win, Jan said she couldn’t answer that, but she said gamely, “I’m looking right at him,” looking at someone in the distance (possibly Robert).
However, on the heels of the declaration that she was single, some social media activity raised fans’ eyebrows again. Xochitl posted a carousel of photos from the finale. She wrote, ‘What a season! Congratulations to all the finalists.”
The post included photos and videos of her during the finale. It also included a video of the winning moment with her enthusiastic cheers. There was also a cozy snap of Xochitl and Robert together.
But the most adorable (and potentially telling) photo in the post was the last of a much-younger Robert holding his sister Bindi Irwin’s Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy from when she won Season 21. This prompted a comment that said, “posting a baby picture is so girlfriend-coded.”
Thus far, Robert has avoided answering any questions about Xochitl save for saying they had the best time together, and it was “really, really great.”
According to Page Six, an insider has disclosed that they are enjoying each other’s company since connecting through the show. Honestly, if the rumors are true, I don’t think anyone would be mad. They both seem exceptionally nice and joyful, and their chemistry is undeniable.
