Denise Richards has a million-dollar question for Charlie Sheen.
On Thursday, Oct. 23, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 54, joked with her ex-husband by posting a photo of an apparently uncashed check he wrote her over a decade ago — for a whopping $1 million.
"Found this during my recent move," she wrote over the image on her Instagram Stories. "I never cashed it, ©charliesheen. Is it still good?!"
Richards placed the slip of paper on a flat surface for the photo, revealing Sheen's signature, her own name in the "pay to the order of" line and an overall sum of $1 million. The check was signed on Dec. 24, 2011 via "Charlie Sheen's pocket account."
To add to the cheeky post, Richards soundtracked the image with an appropriate song for the occasion: Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon hit "Money."

Although personal checks typically expire after six months, Richards and Sheen, 60, appear to be on good terms these days — even without the $1 million — nearly two decades after their tumultuous 2006 divorce.
The former couple stepped out together at the Los Angeles premiere of Sheen’s Netflix documentary, aka Charlie Sheen, back in September, posing for photos together and sharing a hug. The actors share daughters Sami, 21, and Lola, 20.
The pair were married from 2002-2006 after meeting on the set of Good Advice in 2000 and Richards detailed their relationship in the new documentary, sharing that she recalled her life with Sheen in "three stages": "It’s the time I met him and married him, then my divorce and then the aftermath of it. I’m sorry to get so f------ emotional about it because it was a lot, and I’ve had to f------ hold it together.”
“I did want us to just pretend like everything was fine in front of the kids,” she later added. “It’s not their fault we got divorced. They didn’t ask to be born into a broken family. They didn’t ask to be born into a family that is super public and all this s---.”
Sheen added of the relationship in the documentary that he "made it a lot more difficult than it needed to be" and feels "awful about that to this day."
Richards, who is in the midst of a divorce and ongoing legal battle with Aaron Phypers, previously discussed her marriage to Sheen in a PEOPLE cover story back in February. Richards "didn’t want to judge him based on the tabloids" when they first met, she revealed.
“I judged him as the man I met. I said ‘Well, unless he murdered someone, I can’t judge him for the past,' " she said, adding that the eventual marriage was a "roller coaster," “more than people even know.”
Richards said she was also on good terms with Sheen, who's been sober since 2017, she added at the time. “I believe in destiny,” she said. “I wouldn't have Sami and Lola if it weren’t for him.”
“Despite everything we went through, we can have a sense of humor about all the s--- we went through."
