Pittsburgh Steelers edge rusher T.J. Watt has no injury designation for Week 8 against the Green Bay Packers.
If Pittsburgh Steelers edge rusher T.J. Watt is still dealing with a hip injury, it’s not longer reflected in the team’s Week 8 injury report.
Watt fully practiced for the first time this week Friday. On Pittsburgh’s final injury report for the week, the edge rusher had no injury designation.
While speaking to reporters, he made his intention for the Week 8 matchup against the Green Bay Packers very clear.
“Stop the run, stop the run, stop the run,” said Watt.
The former first-team All-Pro defender made that statement a week after the Steelers gave up 142 rushing yards to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Watt didn’t practice at all Wednesday. On the team’s injury report, though, the Steelers reported the edge rusher received a veteran rest day.
But then Thursday, the 31-year-old was limited in practice because of a hip injury.
Despite that, Watt plans to be on the field versus the Packers on Sunday night.
Andy Reid: 'We’ll Rise Above Every Challenge — The Path to Greatness Starts Now'

Kansas City Chiefs head coach
“We’ve built a strong team, and I have no doubt that we’ll continue to rise above every challenge. We’re focused on the future and making sure every player gives their best. This is just the beginning, and we’re on the right path to greatness,” Reid stated confidently, reflecting on the team’s progress and the road ahead.

Reid’s leadership style is centered around consistency and the long-term vision. He understands that the NFL season is full of ups and downs, but his philosophy is rooted in the idea that the team’s success is a result of hard work, determination, and continuous improvement. The 2025 Chiefs are no strangers to adversity, but as Reid pointed out, every challenge they face is just another step toward their ultimate goal.
This mindset has been infectious for the team. Players like Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and other key veterans have embraced the idea of focusing on the bigger picture. They know that the journey to greatness is not a quick fix—it’s about building the right habits, pushing through tough times, and staying committed to the process.
“We’ve had our setbacks, but they don’t define us,” Reid added. “The true test is how we respond to adversity, and I believe in this team’s ability to keep pushing forward and playing at a high level. Every player on this roster has something special to offer, and together, we’re going to keep building toward something great.”
The Chiefs have undoubtedly faced some hurdles this season, but their commitment to the future remains strong. Whether it’s overcoming injuries, fine-tuning their game plan, or simply staying focused on each week’s opponent, the Chiefs are a team built for resilience. Reid’s leadership has instilled a mentality of never backing down, no matter what the scoreboard says.
Looking ahead, the Chiefs are focused on reaching their potential in both the short and long term. With Reid at the helm, the team is committed to improving week in and week out. There’s no room for complacency; the Chiefs are chasing greatness, and they’re determined to do whatever it takes to get there.
For Reid, it’s clear that this season is just the beginning of something special. The path to greatness doesn’t come without its challenges, but the Chiefs are on the right track. They’ve already shown what they’re capable of, and with a roster stacked with talent and a coach who believes in their ability to overcome anything, the sky’s the limit.
“Greatness is a journey, not a destination,” Reid concluded. “We’re just getting started, but I know this team is capable of achieving incredible things. We’ll rise above every challenge and continue to push forward.”
The Chiefs’ pursuit of greatness is in full swing, and with Andy Reid leading the charge, there’s little doubt they will keep striving toward their goal of becoming the NFL’s top team.
