It turns out that Yamada had a conversation with executive producer and showrunner Bradley Bell at the Christmas party in 2023. Yamada admitted she was tired of paying sweet Luna and wanted Luna to channel her bad side.
Little did she know, Bell was going to go full-on crazy with Luna, who literally crossed over to the dark side, instead of just channeling it.

The Bold and the Beautiful’s Lisa Yamada Got Help From Her Co-Stars
Even though she was ready for a change in her alter ego, Yamada wasn’t confident she could do justice to making Luna the villain she has become.
Lucky for her, she was paired with soap vet Don Diamont (Bill), who knows all too well how to play a bad guy.
“He’s my mentor, because I was kind of worried about the whole evil storyline. I used to just come into work, say sweet dialogue, and call it a day. Now, I’m always sobbing and screaming and swinging a gun around! Don saw my potential before even I did, and he championed me,” Yamada expressed.
The revelation that Luna is the granddaughter of another iconic villain from The Bold and the Beautiful, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), also helped Yamada. Brown has been playing Sheila for decades and shared her interesting take on it with the young actress.
It turns out Brown’s advice was to have fun with it, because being the villain gives a person the most interesting storylines to play on the show. Now that Yamada has lunatic Luna down, she’s finally able to see what Brown was talking about.
Tune into the Daytime Emmy Awards on Friday, Oct. 17, to see if Yamada takes home her first statue. She is nominated in the Outstanding Emerging Talent category.
Kyle Richards Has an Update on Feud with Former RHOBH Co-Star Carlton Gebbia

Sometimes time heals wounds, sometimes it doesn’t. In the case of Kyle Richards and former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills one-season wonder Carlton Gebbia, it looks like not enough time has passed. The two had their differences in Season 4, and it looks like they just never moved past that.
Guess Kyle had no interest in touching base with the former practicing witch and sex dungeon owner. As for Carlton, we haven’t heard too much about her. We know she was hospitalized after passing out in a club in 2016 due to an adverse medical reaction.
So, what’s been going down?
Kyle Richards admits the Season 4 drama with Carlton Gebbia was “horrible”

Carlton also emerged in 2023 when Kyle was going through her separation from Mauricio Umansky. She revealed that she and her husband, David Gebbia, were also separated. For what it was worth, she thought Kyle and Mauricio had a great run.
As for Kyle, she’s still not cool with Carlton. The update came during an Amazon Live where she shared that Carlton “was not acting” throughout Season 4 and that all that drama was real.
“That was real,” Kyle revealed. “Hence, my not getting along with her. That was horrible. Talk about, like, negative. Oh my gosh.”
It was so awful that Kyle admitted that Season 4 was her least favorite season to relive or look back on. Honestly, it’s not surprising Kyle never reconnected with Carlton. She’s been pretty consistent as far as her former co-star is concerned.
In 2020, Kyle appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and answered a fan question asking which co-star brought the least to the show. She quickly answered, “The least to the show, that would be Season 4, Carlton.”
Then, in 2024, during an interview with the Daily Dish, Kyle shared which RHOBH alums she still speaks with to this day and which ones she doesn’t talk to, and her answer was “Definitely not Carlton.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is streaming on Peacock in the US and on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
