Teddi took to her Instagram Story last weekend, where she held a Q&A session. It was here that she shared her own current struggles with immunotherapy, admitting that her energy levels go up and down all the time. (Earlier this year, Teddi revealed that she will undergo immunotherapy treatments for the next two years and has taken breaks in the past as she deals with the side effects.) "Some days are definitely better than others," she wrote. "And you don't see all the times I'm laying in bed unable to do much. Don't be afraid to let people know how you're feeling and don't feel guilty if you need to rest."
Her energy levels have also impacted her work schedule with her podcast, Two T's in a Pod, which she co-hosts with The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member, Tamra Judge. "I am taking it week by week right now with how I am feeling," she wrote. "Y'all know I love doing it, but I have to listen to my body."
Teddi continued with this streak of honesty when she took to her Instagram Story on Nov. 11, where she filmed herself working out on her exercise bike. "I have been feeling terrible," she admitted. "New goal is 20 mins a day."

Teddi Mellencamp shares advice for those who have loved ones with cancer
Teddi continued during the question and answer session, sharing advice to a spouse of someone with brain cancer. "I would say listen, especially on the worst days," she stated. "We often feel like we don't want to burden people but to have an outlet is so beneficial for our mental health," she noted.
As previously stated, Teddi shared some major news about her battle with Stage 4 cancer in early October. Teddi took to her podcast on Oct. 3, where she opened up about her doctor's findings. "At this point, there is no detectable cancer," she stated.

Teddi has also been surrounded by her loved ones, including her father, John Mellencamp, and her kids, during this time. She took to Instagram on Oct. 24, where she posted a photo of her dad surrounded by her daughters, Slate and Dove Arroyave, and opened up about John's support.
"It's been 10 months since my brain surgery and I am so grateful for [John Mellencamp] for continuously being there for me and my family the entire time," she wrote in the caption of the post. "Although apparently now that I'm no evidence of disease I can take photos without myself in it so I guess we're all healing. Love you so much, Cougs. Thanks for everything."

Jon Gruden Drops Bombshell Comparison on Steelers QB Will Howard

Will Howard’s decision to transfer from Kansas State to the Ohio State Buckeyes was a prime example of the transfer portal working out in a big way for both sides. Howard was the leader and playmaker the Buckeyes needed to win the College Football Playoff last season, and he boosted his draft stock in the process.

The Pittsburgh Steelers entered the 2025 NFL Draft knowing they needed a quarterback, but selecting one early never materialized. They found Howard in the sixth round, though his acclimation to the team was slowed by a broken finger suffered during training camp that forced him to miss the entire preseason. The good news for Howard came this week, as he was reinstated from injured reserve on Wednesday.
Pittsburgh has its quarterback for this season in Aaron Rodgers, but what comes after remains to be seen. One former NFL head coach who has gotten to know Howard believes he might be exactly what the Steelers need down the road.
“I love Will Howard,” Jon Gruden told 93.7 The Fan on Thursday. “I am thankful that he is up. I will be surprised if Will Howard is on the bench much longer. He’s got everything you want in a quarterback. We won a Super Bowl with Brad Johnson. He’s got that prototype size I like — he’s 6’4”, 225-230, and built like a horse. I mean, this is a big guy. He can run the ball, he can keep it on the zone read, he’s an accurate passer. He’s a winner, man. This guy is a winner.”
Where Will Howard stands with the Steelers
Will Howard might have missed physical time on the football field for the Steelers, but he took advantage of every mental rep he could find while rehabbing his throwing hand. So much so that Steelers OC Arthur Smith even gave him the nickname "Coach Will." But now, player Will is back. After returning to practice a few weeks ago, the Steelers officially activated him from the injured reserve this week, and he is fully back in the mix.
Internally, the Steelers were very happy to have selected Howard as late as the sixth round. However, their actions don't necessarily match their words. Despite the growing belief among a contingent of Steelers fans, Pittsburgh is still very much in the process of finding its next signal caller. At nearly every big game this year where a top-flight quarterback prospect is playing, the Steelers have sent a scout, if not multiple.
That doesn't mean Will Howard isn't a suitable backup with starter upside. I think that's his exact role. Perhaps in an open competition, he proves to be even better. It would be unwise to limit Howard's ceiling, but the Steelers are still searching for a QB of the future.
