Seahawks’ Leonard Williams breaks silence on leprechaun suit after losing USC-Notre Dame bet
The Seattle Seahawks have pressing concerns, like injuries to Cooper Kupp, and also whether they will make a trade. However, defensive end Leonard Williams found the need to break his silence on the leprechaun suit after losing a bet on the USC-Notre Dame game.

The wild entrance was brought to light by a post on X from Dugar, Michael-Shawn.
“Leo says his impression of the agreement with Julian Love was that the loser would wear rival team’s gear. Then he showed up one day & there was a leprechaun suit in his locker. A man of his word, Leo (and Chenna/Pili) honored it. (Had USC won, Leo was gonna have Julian wear a massively oversized USC shirt)”
Here’s what the grand stroll looked like, according to a post on X by Dugar.
USC defeated Notre Dame, 34-24, on Oct. 18.
Is Seahawks DE Leonard Williams better at football than betting?
The numbers would suggest a yes to that question. Williams’ overall grade this season is 75.3, according to Pro Football Focus. That ranks him at No. 18 among 128 qualifying defensive linemen. His run defense grade of 78.4 puts him at No. 7 on the list.
Williams is part of a team that is off to a 5-2 start and considered one of the best squads in the NFC. But there’s room to grow, according to Seahawks.com.
“I think our team has a lot of potential,” Williams said. “I don’t think we still have played a full game where all three levels are playing the way we know we can really play. There are times when the defense is not playing so well. and the offense is playing great. I think when we get all three phases going, we’ve got a great team.”
Head coach Mike Macdonald said he likes the fact his team hasn’t gotten anywhere near its potential.
“There are a lot of things to work on, which is great,” Macdonald said. “It’s a good position to be in, figuring out ways to win games when you also feel like you have a lot of room to grow as well. The importance of this week is we get some rest, we regroup, get a great feel for the things that we’re doing well, things we need to improve on, and then have a great plan of attack going into next week.”
SHOCKING RUMOR: Ravens Urged to Trade for Cowboys Offensive Lineman to Fix Major Weakness Before Season Kicks Off

The Baltimore Ravens are set to take on the Dallas Cowboys in their second preseason game on Saturday night, with the team expecting to treat the game as a dress rehearsal for the regular season. While the action on the field will obviously be worth watching, some folks are wondering if there’s a trade to be made between these two teams.
If there’s an area the Ravens need help at on offense, it’s their interior offensive line, particularly the guard position. With that in mind, Baltimore could take a quick look at Dallas’ roster and notice they have a lot of depth at that spot, which could lead them to pursue a trade for one of their backup guards, Brock Hoffman.

Ravens Urged to Trade for Brock Hoffman
Hoffman went undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft, with the Cowboys scooping him up with the intent of developing him behind the scenes. Sure enough, Hoffman has suited up for all 17 of Dallas’ games over the past two seasons, and while he’s only drawn nine starts, he’s put together some strong tape during his time on the field.
Last year, Hoffman started seven games in relief of the injured Zack Martin at right guard. While he’s a center by trade, Hoffman can play at both guard positions as well, which is the sort of versatility teams are always looking for with their depth options. There’s a case to be made that Hoffman could start right away for Baltimore, though.
Neither of the Ravens’ guards has inspired much confidence early in training camp. Andrew Vorhees is an unproven 2023 seventh-round pick, while Daniel Faalele has struggled so far at camp, particularly in pass protection. With Hoffman potentially being expendable for the Cowboys, Marcus Mosher of Ebony Bird believes that the two teams could find common ground on a potential trade here.
“Most of the trades that happen during the preseason are between teams that play each other, so keep a close eye on No. 67 for the Cowboys, as he could be a potential trade target in the near future,” Mosher wrote. “And the best part is, it wouldn’t take a lot for the Ravens to acquire him, and yet, he could really help improve the interior of their offensive line.”
Should the Ravens Trade for Brock Hoffman from the Cowboys?

Hoffman isn’t necessarily a proven option himself, but he could give Baltimore’s coaching staff another player to throw into the mix as training camp winds down. And even if they want to roll with Vorhees and Faalele as their starting guards, Hoffman could act as a depth option behind them in the event they get injured or continue to struggle.
There’s no doubt that this trade could be done for a sixth or seventh round pick, so if the Ravens feel like they need some help along their offensive line, swinging a trade for Hoffman after spending a considerable amount of time watching him play would make sense. Baltimore is going to work on getting through their preseason game first, but it wouldn’t necessarily be a surprise to see a deal between these two sides get done in the near future.
