PHOTOS: Ariana Madix Sparks Engagement Rumors After Celebrating 40th Birthday With Boyfriend Daniel Wai in Fiji, See the Ring Causing a Stir

Could Ariana Madix be secretly engaged to boyfriend Daniel Wai?

While the Vanderpump Rules alum has yet to announce any such news, rumors are swirling online in regard to a potential engagement after she was spotted seemingly wearing the same ring on her ring finger after celebrating her 40th birthday with Daniel and her friends over the summer in Fiji.

“I believe Ariana might be in engaged,” a fan wrote on Reddit on October 21, along with several images of Ariana.

In the first photo, taken in Fiji, Ariana was seen sharing a kiss with Daniel in front of a sunset, and in a comment, he described the moment as the “best day ever with the best person.”

Other images included in the post featured Ariana at a concert with friends and on Love Island USA, where she appeared to be wearing the same ring.

After the photos were shared, many fans expressed excitement.

“So happy for how life treated her and [Katie Maloney] post [Pump Rules] … Hope this is true if it’s what she wants!” one person wrote. 

“Love this for our queen,” another agreed.

Others signaled her messy split from Tom Sandoval, 43, who cheated on her with their friend and castmate, Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, 30, after nearly 10 years of dating.

“Even though it was done in a terrible way, Scandoval was the best thing that could’ve happened to her. Tom was deadweight,” someone noted. 

Another person mentioned that Ariana previously said she didn’t want to get married or have kids.

“She was very open about the reasons for not wanting some ‘traditional’ stuff and it was all mostly due to fears she had … If she found someone she could build her life with without those fears, that’s amazing,” they wrote. 

During an interview with Us Weekly last December, Ariana gushed over Daniel as she seemingly changed her tune about marriage, admitting she wasn’t completely opposed to the idea.

“I don’t think I’ve ever met someone who feels the way about me that Daniel feels. He thinks I am the most beautiful person in the world, the funniest person in the world, the smartest,” she revealed. “He’s constantly telling me how smart I am and how much he believes in me, and I just feel like having that kind of partner makes everything feel so easy. I never feel stressed. I never feel worried, and he’s always reassuring me, and it feels really nice.”

Around the same time, she spoke of their years-long relationship during a chat with PEOPLE.

“He is so incredible. He’s so smart. He’s so supportive. He’s so cute. He’s just constantly in my corner,” she said. “He’s someone who I look up to … If someone were to have told me five years ago before I ever met him [that I’d be] dating this guy, I’d be like, ‘Wow. I would love him for anyone because he is so amazing.’”

During another interview, Ariana confessed that she didn’t love living on separate coasts from Daniel, who is New York-based.

“The idea of it, I don’t love long-term,” she said on the Disrespectfully

 podcast. “I feel like two years is, it’s getting to a point where it’s like, ‘OK, now we’re really going to [move in together].’”

Although Ariana would like to live closer to Daniel, she noted that their long-distance relationship had been to their benefit.

“What’s good about long distance is that it really forces you to talk to each other because you can’t just hang out and watch a movie or go to a bar and make out. You have to have conversations,” she explained. “I think that’s really helped us build our communication from the beginning. What he’s really good about is making sure that there’s always a date.”
