Maxx Crosby Vows: 'Every Loss is a Lesson—We’re Not Backing Down'
In the face of a challenging season, Maxx Crosby, the heart and soul of the Las Vegas Raiders' defense, has remained steadfast in his commitment to the team. After another tough loss, Crosby took to the podium to deliver a powerful message to his teammates and fans alike: “Every loss is a lesson, and every game is a chance to improve. We may not be where we want to be, but we’re not backing down. This team has the heart and the fight to rise above anything that comes our way. We’ll keep showing up, day in and day out.”
Crosby’s words are more than just a rallying cry—they reflect the mindset of a player who has consistently led by example, both on and off the field. Despite the Raiders’ struggles this season, Crosby’s resilience and determination have been unwavering. As the team sits at a disappointing 2-9, Crosby remains the embodiment of leadership, refusing to let the team’s record define their future.

“It’s easy to get discouraged after a tough loss,” Crosby continued, “but we can’t let it break us. Every setback is an opportunity to learn and grow. We have the talent, the heart, and the character to turn things around, and I believe in every one of my teammates. We’ve got a job to do, and we’re going to keep fighting.”
Crosby’s commitment to the team is evident in the way he approaches each game and practice. Despite the mounting frustrations of a season that has not gone as planned, he continues to show up with the same intensity and passion. For Crosby, it’s not just about personal performance; it’s about the collective effort of the team. His leadership has become the glue that holds the Raiders together during their most difficult moments.
What makes Crosby’s leadership even more significant is his ability to stay positive and focused on the bigger picture. He understands that rebuilding and development take time. Rather than letting the team’s struggles define their future, Crosby uses each loss as a stepping stone to greater success. His message is clear: adversity is not something to fear, but something to overcome.
As the Raiders move forward into the final stretch of the season, Crosby’s words will resonate throughout the locker room. He is determined to continue leading by example and to help his teammates rise above the challenges they face. With Crosby’s mindset and unwavering belief in the team’s potential, the Raiders will look to finish the season strong, no matter the outcome.
Maxx Crosby’s leadership is a testament to what it means to be a true competitor. His resolve and dedication to the team’s success prove that no matter the score, the Raiders will continue to fight until the very end.
Saints' Cameron Jordan reached a new height in strip-sack vs. Falcons

The New Orleans Saints made history in a positive sense for a change in Sunday's contest against the visiting division rival Falcons, starting with a new record for Cameron Jordan. The defensive standout did more than accomplish a personal record, he now has the 19th-most sacks of all time with a total of 126 after bringing down Atlanta quarterback Kirk Cousins in the first quarter.
Sacking Cousins puts Jordan right there next to legendary former Indianapolis Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney, who Jordan had the chance to surpass in that exact same outing. Here's a look at Jordan's takedown, which occurred roughly nine minutes into the matchup.
With that sack, Cam Jordan now has 126 career sacks, surpassing PFHOF DE Dwight Freeney for 19th all-time in @NFL history. https://t.co/0hQqrow8kW

Jordan headed into the game with 23 combined tackles (15 solo), 3.5 sacks, one fumble and one pass defended. He finished out the Saints' 17-7 win over the Carolina Panthers in his most recent appearance with two solo tackles, one sack and a fumble in one of his most dominant performances this year.
As one of the few bright spots then Saints have had in the midst of yet another lost season, how Jordan continues to add to his extensive list of accolades will be something to keep an eye on. He's building his resume for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Next up for him to surpass is Derrick Thomas (another Hall of Famer, like Freeney) at 126.5 sacks, and then Saints legend Rickey Jackson with 128.
