Jets' Malachi Moore makes big game vs. Eagles sound simple: 'Trying to have fun'
When the New York Jets selected Malachi Moore at the 2025 NFL draft, head coach Aaron Glenn praised the fourth-round pick's versatility.
Moore sure made Glenn look correct on Friday during the Jets' preseason finale against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Eagles won 19-17 but Moore was all over the field with seven tackles, an interception, tackle for loss, and big play on special teams with a quick take down on punt coverage. All of that came in just the first half.
What went into Moore's play? He kept it simple... in the most actual sense.
"I was just trying to go out there and have fun, not think too much," Moore said. "I think I was putting a lot of stress on myself to be perfect."
