DWTS’ Carrie Ann Inaba Appears to Clap Back at Scoring Criticism With Taylor Swift Anthem
Dancing With the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba is clapping back at criticism of her scoring — with help from Taylor Swift.
Inaba, 57, shared a pointed TikTok video on Wednesday, October 22, mouthing along to one of Swift’s new songs, “Actually Romantic,” taken from her record-breaking

“But it’s actually sweet, all the time you’ve spent on me / It’s honestly wild, all the effort you’ve put in / It’s actually romantic,” the dancer and choreographer mouthed before blowing a kiss to the camera.
“My Wednesday morning anthem,” she wrote over the video, which was captioned, “It’s actually romantic #dwts #fyp.”
Inaba has faced criticism over what some viewers perceive to be harsh scoring on the 34th season of
“Some of your dances are starting to feel like I’m watching the same dance over and over again,” she told
In an interview with Variety last week, Pashkov called the comments “unfair.”
“I was not happy. I always get protective. For me, that comment felt unfair, especially being that she said that the dances looked similar,” Pashkov, 39, said. “But the thing is, we did have a quickstep, and we had a jive this week. These are two dances that very, very similar.”
“If we had dances that were drastically different, and they felt the same, I’d understand. But, based on the dances that we had, that did not feel like it made sense to me. In my heart, I’m overprotective because I know how hard Danielle is working. I don’t think she deserved that comment,” he added.
On October 15, Inaba tackled criticism of her scoring and accusations of “favoritism” in her Instagram comments.
“Giving Whitney [Leavitt] a 9 but Robert [Irwin] an 8, GIRLLL please get it together,” one person wrote.
Another said, “Can you explain why you gave Whitney a 9 when she was off beat and also has prior dance experience so she shouldn’t be off beat, but Robert and even Jen [Affleck] had a beautiful dance, timing was impeccable and you scored them lower? Just confusing to watch and wondering what goes through your mind when giving those scores.”

Inaba responded in the comments, “It’s okay to disagree about what we see. That’s what makes our show great,” she wrote. “You have a say in the matter. We want you to vote for what you love and believe in. I appreciate your comment and the way you expressed your feelings. ❤️ thank you for your passion and your opinion.”
Inaba has served as a judge on Dancing With the Stars across all 34 seasons since the show began in 2005. She currently sits on the judging panel alongside Bruno Tonioli
B&B’s The Rinse October 25: Could Luna Manipulate Her Way to Will’s Heart?

In the October 23 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Luna convinces the prison doctor to page Will Spencer. She believes she can win him over to her side. But is she right?
Key Takeaways
- Luna is pregnant and serving time in jail.
- She’s also carrying Will’s child.
- Luna believes that Will could end up feeling sorry for her.
- But he claims he’s not concerned about Luna, only about his unborn child.
- Will and Electra claim that they will never let Luna get to them.
Luna’s Prison Escape
It’s as if Luna (Lisa Yamada) is playing the video game Prison Escape. She devised unconventional ways to escape jail. So far, she’s asked her inmate to beat her up, which she’s done before.

Then, Luna asked the prison doctor to look at her injuries and to have Will (Crew Morrow) see her. Could Luna’s prison beatdown cause a miscarriage? The doctor eventually agreed after Luna manipulated her into doing so.
Will showed up after he got a call from prison. He told Electra (Laneya Grace) that he was only going to see Luna because he was worried about the baby’s condition.
Luna thanked Will for visiting. He told her that he’s only here for the baby, not for her. Then, he wanted to know what happened. Luna claimed that her fellow inmates are out to get her.
She begged Will to help her, but he looked hesitant about what to do. Luna begged Will not to leave, but he had to go back to the office. Will warned Luna not to manipulate him into feeling sorry for her. He’s only here for his baby.
Will She Win?
Though she didn’t get released, Luna seemed satisfied with her visit from Will. She bragged to everyone that she’s carrying his baby and he’s going to get her out of there. But of course, her inmates couldn’t care less.
Luna sat down in her cell and fantasized about her night with Will. Then, she rubbed her belly and told her baby that its daddy will get them out of there. She had a smug expression on her face once again.
When Will returned to the office, he assured Electra that he was only concerned about the baby. However, Electra doesn’t think he can worry about the baby without worrying about Luna.
She could be right. Luna is a package deal. And Will could eventually feel bad for her and want to have her released from prison. Even the B&B fans think Will could eventually come to Luna’s rescue.
But that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s going to fall in love with her just yet. After all, she’s a cold-blooded killer, and that’s a hard pill for even Will to swallow. Will’s feelings are all over the place, but he won’t let Luna come between him and Electra.
