Cowboys QB Dak Prescott’s 3-Word Response to Quinnen Williams Trade
The Dallas Cowboys made a massive splash at the trade deadline, landing star defensive tackle Quinnen Williams in a blockbuster deal that has quarterback Dak Prescott fired up.

The Cowboys sent a 2026 second-round pick, a 2027 first-round pick and defensive tackle Mazi Smith to the Jets for Williams — a three-time Pro Bowler with 40 sacks on his resume. Earlier in the day, Dallas traded for Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson.
After the trades were announced, Prescott shared a raw three-word reaction.
“I’m (expletive) pumped,” Prescott said, per Jon Machota of The Athletic.
Cowboys defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa echoed that sentiment.
“He’s going to add more play-making ability to the D-line, another bullet in the gun. Another very strong and talented guy,” Odighizuwa said. “I respect his game a lot. The dude’s a baller. I’m excited to have him on the team.”
Quinnen Williams Will Provide Spark for Cowboys Defense

Williams will be a significant boost for a Cowboys defense that ranks near the bottom of the league in every major category. Dallas is coming off a 27-17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, dropping them to 3-5-1 this season. But the trade suggests the Cowboys are not giving up hope on this season just yet.
After Monday’s loss, Prescott stressed how a big trade could change the trajectory of the season for the Cowboys.
“Yeah, I mean, especially if it’s a big value guy, a guy that’s gonna come in and make a difference and have an immediate impact,” Prescott said. “You can do so much good being a part of one of those [trades]. I forget how many years ago it was, but it was Amari Cooper, right? Signing him during the bye week, or going into the bye weekend, we were able to get something going a few weeks later.
“I knew we lost that first week we had him on Monday night, but we ended up getting it back rolling and put a streak together, and that’s what this league is about. It’s about creating streaks — win streaks, getting hot, and putting yourself in a better position than you were, or you are at this moment.”
Quinnen Williams Long-Term Piece for Cowboys

Williams is not a one-year rental for the Cowboys. He inked a four-year, $96 million extension with the Jets in 2023, keeping him under contract through the 2027 season. That deal ensures the Cowboys would control his rights for roughly the next two and a half years before he’s set to hit free agency in 2028.
Dallas now boasts two Pro Bowl-caliber defensive tackles — Williams and Kenny Clark, who arrived from Green Bay as part of the Micah Parsons trade.
It’s a forward-thinking move for the future, but Prescott made it clear heading into the bye week that the focus remains on the present, calling every remaining matchup a “must-win.”
“Every game is a must-win going forward,” Prescott said. “I know you say that, and you feel that in the NFL, and you should feel that, but when you put yourself in a position or behind like we have, it’s even more so that case. We’re fortunate right now that, in the league, there’s a lot of teams with multiple losses. … You can catch a hot streak and be right there in the mix.”
The Cowboys’ next game is on Nov. 17 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Shocking Turn of Events: Lions Cut Two Highly-Talented Rookies After Wild Night Out — Head Coach Drops Bombshell Message!

In an unprecedented move that has sent shockwaves through the NFL, two highly-touted rookies from the Detroit Lions were cut from the team just hours after being caught in a wild late-night party. The incident, which involved the players partying into the early morning hours, led to their shocking release by head coach Dan Campbell.
Sources close to the team revealed that the players showed up late and visibly hungover to practice the next day, sparking outrage among teammates and coaching staff. Campbell, known for his fiery leadership and no-excuses mentality, wasted no time taking swift action — leaving everyone questioning: What kind of behavior can we expect from the Lions now?
Coach Campbell's Blunt Reaction:
“It’s not just about talent. This is about doing things the right way, and that means respecting the game, your teammates, and your commitment to being a pro.”
“What happened last night is unacceptable. We’re here to build a championship culture, not to be out partying like it’s spring break!”
The head coach’s blistering comments have sparked a firestorm of debate, with fans and analysts divided on whether Campbell went too far. Some argue that cutting young, promising players over a single lapse in judgment could be a drastic overreaction. Others claim that Campbell's move was absolutely necessary to maintain the “winning culture” the Lions have worked so hard to build.
But it’s not just Campbell’s comments that have made headlines — it’s the players themselves, whose sudden release has fans buzzing. The rookies, who were expected to play pivotal roles in the Lions' season, are now left without a team, with rumors swirling that they could be picked up by rival teams desperate for talent.
Lions' Team Leaders React
One veteran player, Jared Goff, spoke up on the matter:
“No one is above the team. We’ve worked too hard for this moment, and if you can’t stay focused, you’re out. Simple as that.”
Fans on social media are split, with some praising Campbell’s leadership, while others slam him for exaggerating the consequences of the party. It’s a conversation that’s only just begun, and the fallout could shake up the entire NFL landscape.
Could this bold move be the beginning of a dynasty for the Lions? Or did Campbell just alienate future stars for the sake of discipline?
Stay tuned for more details — and buckle up, because the Lions drama is just getting started!
