Cowboys Pushing to Land $106 Million Superstar in Blockbuster Trade: Report
The Dallas Cowboys continue to emphasize that the team is open for business ahead of the NFL trade deadline, but fans have heard these words before. Dallas is no stranger to talking a big game before the deadline, but there are reasons to think the team could strike a deal in the coming weeks.
After trading Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers, the Cowboys have some additional future draft picks the team could use as trade bait. It remains to be seen if the Cowboys will be as aggressive as the team often talks.
Former ESPN analyst Trey Wingo reported that the Cowboys are exploring a potential trade for Las Vegas Raiders pass rusher Maxx Crosby.
“Breaking: according to sources the @dallascowboys have made inquiries with the @Raiders about a potential trade for Maxx Crosby,” Wingo detailed in an October 21, 2025, message on X.
Here’s what you need to know about the latest Cowboys trade rumor.
The Cowboys & Raiders Have Talked About a Trade for Star Pass Rusher Maxx Crosby: Report
It is worth noting that making “inquiries” about a potential blockbuster trade is a lot different than being on the verge of landing a big fish. For fans holding out hope about this trade potentially happening, look no further than the Raiders’ 2-5 record.
Dallas could attempt to offer the Raiders a similar deal to what the Cowboys landed for Parsons. The question is whether the Raiders have an interest in cutting ties with arguably the team’s best player.
The Cowboys Could Save Money by Trading for Raiders Star Maxx Crosby Compared to Micah Parsons
Crosby is on a much more affordable deal than the contract Parsons signed with the Packers following the trade. The Raiders star is on a three-year, $106 million deal that is slated to run through the 2029 season.
Comparatively, Parsons inked a four-year, $186 million contract with Green Bay. Even if the Cowboys give up the same deal the team landed for Parsons, the franchise would be saving money each season compared to the contract Parsons landed.
Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones: Dallas Is Open to the Right ‘Opportunity’ to Make a Trade
After the Cowboys’ dominant win over the Washington Commanders, owner Jerry Jones discussed the team’s mindset on making potential trades. The Cowboys have until the NFL trade deadline on November 4, to strike a deal.
“You don’t just because we played well and all of a sudden everybody thinks, ‘Boy, you’re in the hunt, so it’s time to go out and gather up all of this talent that’s waiting around out here on the trees to add to it.'” Jones told 105.3 The Fan, per Cowboys.com.
“That’s not realistic. What’s realistic is that if we do see an opportunity, we are in as good a shape as we’ve been in in years with picks, with financial, with our cap. We’re in as good a shape we’ve ever been if we see a way to improve our team with a player that makes sense today, this year, next year to entertain it and look at it.”
As for Crosby, the pass rusher would make a lot of sense in Big D if the Cowboys can keep the Raiders from hanging up the phone. Crosby has made the Pro Bowl in four straight seasons. The star has posted 28 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, nine quarterback hits and four sacks in his first seven starts this season.
Alvin Kamara Unleashes Fiery Speech at "No Kings" Protest in Chicago, Criticizes Donald Trump’s Influence on Politics

In an unexpected and impassioned turn of events, Alvin Kamara, the standout running back for the New Orleans Saints, made a surprising appearance at the "No Kings" protest in Chicago, where he delivered a blistering speech aimed squarely at President Donald Trump. The protest, which was organized to challenge the notion of political monarchy and concentrate on rallying for democracy, saw Kamara take center stage and address the crowd with fiery rhetoric.
The protest, which centered around the slogan "No Kings, Only People," sought to reject authoritarian leadership and demand greater accountability from political leaders. Alvin Kamara, while known for his athletic prowess, has gained attention for his increasingly vocal stance on social and political issues. His appearance at the event took many by surprise, but his message struck a powerful chord with the audience.
"I'm tired of seeing this country held hostage by one man's ego," Kamara said, addressing the crowd with intensity. "We can't let someone like Trump dictate the future of this nation. We need real change, not more of the same. It's time for the people to rise up and demand what's rightfully ours - a government that listens to the voices of all its citizens, not just the powerful."
His speech was met with a wave of applause and cheers from the crowd, many of whom echoed his sentiments about the direction of American politics. Kamara's critique of Trump, framed around the idea of rejecting kingship in favor of true democracy, resonated deeply with those gathered in Chicago, who are passionate about dismantling the influence of wealthy elites and ensuring that political power is vested in the people.
Though Kamara's comments have sparked both praise and controversy, they signal his growing influence beyond the football field. With the 2024 election season heating up, his willingness to speak out has drawn attention to the intersection of sports, politics, and the power of athlete activism.
Kamara, whose popularity continues to rise as one of the most dynamic running backs in the NFL, has now solidified his position as not just an athlete, but a politically engaged figure whose voice is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore. His message at the "No Kings" protest is likely to fuel further debate as the nation navigates its complex political landscape in the coming months.
