Cowboys’ CeeDee Lamb drops positive injury revelation ahead of return
The Dallas Cowboys are on the verge of getting CeeDee Lamb back on the field as he dropped a positive injury revelation ahead of his return.
First, CeeDee Lamb returned to the Dallas Cowboys' practice field. Then, Dak Prescott got all hyped up. And now, Lamb dropped a positive injury revelation ahead of his return, according to a post on X by Todd Archer.
“CeeDee Lamb on his ankle: “I feel like I’m moving around, running around, being me. Happy as can be, obviously, just believing in my ankle. Obviously, I feel like it’s back to where I needed it to be.” Said he could've returned last week, but caution was best served.”
Lamb’s return comes at an opportune time for the Cowboys, who face a critical NFC East contest against the Commanders. Dallas enters with a record of 2-3-1 while the Commanders are 3-3.
Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb looks like a good bet for Week 7
Prescott said he’s excited about the way things look for Lamb, according to a post on X by Jon Machota.
“Dak Prescott: “He looks great. He’s ready to go. It’s going to be fun.”
Also, head coach Brian Schottenheimer weighed in with enthusiasm on whether Lamb would face the Commanders, according to dallascowboys.com.
“Yeah, if he's breathing,” joked Schottenheimer. “Honestly, yeah. CeeDee knows how to play football. If he runs around and catches a pass or two, I'm good.”
And Lamb’s running mate brought the positive heat. George Pickens said the Commanders’ defense will be in trouble.
“I don't even think the words can fully explain him, and possibly [KaVontae Turpin] too, so super excited,” Pickens said. “[The offense can be] way more dangerous and way more explosive, too, when you got other guys like CeeDee and Turp — it's another component of explosiveness that you can't really describe … and don't forget about Jake [Ferguson].”
Both the Cowboys and Commanders are coming off tough losses. The Commanders lost on a last-second field goal by the Bears, while the Cowboys did likewise against the Panthers.
Saints Superstar’s Heartbreaking Story Before His NFL Breakthrough

In the high-stakes world of the NFL, where the focus is often on the dazzling touchdowns and jaw-dropping plays, few players' stories capture the true essence of perseverance quite like New Orleans Saints superstar Alvin Kamara. His path to becoming one of the league’s most electrifying running backs was paved with personal struggles, resilience, and a drive to overcome the challenges that life threw his way.
Alvin Kamara’s journey began in a world of uncertainty. His parents divorced when he was just eight years old, a pivotal moment that would shape his life in ways many could never understand. As his mother and father moved on to build new families, Kamara found himself navigating his childhood without the consistent support of either parent. Raised by his extended family, he turned to his cousins for love and guidance, but the emotional toll of being separated from his parents left a lasting impact.
“I was pretty much on my own. My parents didn’t really have much to do with my upbringing after the divorce,” Kamara reflected in a candid interview. “But my cousins, they were there for me. They became my family, and I owe a lot of where I am today to them.”
Despite the emotional challenges that followed him through his youth, Kamara’s escape came in the form of football. The game gave him a way to channel his emotions, a place where he could leave his personal struggles behind and focus solely on the field. His natural talent and explosive playmaking ability quickly caught the attention of scouts, and it wasn’t long before he became a standout player in college football.
However, even with his success on the field, Kamara continued to grapple with his personal issues. “Football wasn’t just about making it to the NFL. It was about proving to myself that I could succeed despite everything I’d been through,” he said. “I had to fight through a lot of things that most people don’t have to deal with. But I wasn’t going to let it stop me.”
Kamara’s journey to the NFL wasn’t an easy one. His college career was marked by his undeniable talent, but the emotional baggage of his early life remained a part of him. When the New Orleans Saints selected him in the 2017 NFL Draft, Kamara’s breakthrough moment had arrived, but it was more than just a professional triumph — it was the culmination of years of hard work, sacrifice, and determination to prove that he could overcome his past.
The turning point came when Kamara signed his first NFL contract. This was not only a career milestone but a personal victory — one that marked the beginning of a new chapter in his life. But the most emotional part of the story came when his parents, who had been largely absent throughout his life, returned to congratulate him on his success. The moment was bittersweet but deeply meaningful, as it symbolized both his individual triumph and the healing of old wounds.
“To have them come back into my life when I signed that contract, it meant everything to me,” Kamara shared. “It wasn’t just about football; it was about showing myself and everyone around me that I could do this, no matter the circumstances.”
Kamara’s story is a powerful reminder that success in the NFL isn’t just about athletic ability. It’s about the strength to overcome adversity, the ability to heal, and the determination to rise above personal struggles. His journey is a testament to the fact that sometimes the hardest battles are fought off the field, and it’s what you do in those moments that shapes your true character.
As Alvin Kamara continues to electrify fans on the field with his game-changing plays, his story off the field is one of resilience, growth, and redemption. For every touchdown he scores, every highlight-reel run he makes, there’s a deeper story of a young man who overcame a fractured family, struggled with loss, and turned it all into something greater than himself.
Now, as he enters the prime of his career with the Saints, Kamara’s journey continues to inspire others who face their own battles, proving that with determination, family support, and a relentless will to succeed, anything is possible.
