BREAKING: Dolphins star Jaylen Waddle teases joining Bills amidst trade rumors
The Buffalo Bills' offense has been one of the league's most potent forces through the first few weeks of the season, but as Week 7 looms, questions have surfaced about their need for a true No. 1 wide receiver. After scoring more than 30 points in their first four games, the Bills have struggled to generate offense in their last two outings, scoring just 34 combined points in losses to the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons. Both teams shut down the passing game with effective man-to-man coverage, leaving many to wonder if the Bills need to upgrade at wide receiver to keep pace in the AFC.
Enter Jaylen Waddle, the Miami Dolphins' star wide receiver, whose name has recently surfaced in trade rumors. Waddle, who has been a reliable weapon for the Dolphins with 338 career receptions and 23 touchdowns, could provide the kind of explosive playmaking ability Buffalo has been lacking in recent weeks. The idea of pairing Waddle with Josh Allen is enticing, and it seems that the talented wideout himself might be entertaining the idea.
Waddle recently posted an intriguing Instagram story that has sent shockwaves through Bills Mafia. The post included several images, but one in particular caught the eye of fans: a picture of Waddle standing in front of the Buffalo Bills logo. While the post could have been a simple coincidence, the timing—coming on the heels of trade rumors—has ignited speculation that the Dolphins' wideout might be sending a not-so-subtle message to the Bills and the NFL community.
In a recent statement, Waddle left little to the imagination regarding his potential interest in joining Buffalo. “Look, I’ve been watching the Bills, and I’m not going to lie—there’s something special there. Josh Allen’s arm, that offense, the energy in Buffalo—it’s all electric. I’ve always believed in competing at the highest level, and if the opportunity comes to join a team with that kind of firepower, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited about the idea. Buffalo’s got a winning mentality, and I want to be a part of that.”
While Waddle's words could be seen as mere speculation, they signal a strong desire to join a team with Super Bowl aspirations. The Bills, who are currently locked in a tight race in the AFC East, could use a proven weapon like Waddle to complement Stefon Diggs and provide Josh Allen with another dynamic target. Waddle’s speed, route-running, and deep-threat ability could be the perfect addition to an already potent offense.
The Dolphins, however, have been clear in their intentions to keep their roster intact and remain competitive in the AFC. Miami is currently atop the division and has a formidable receiving corps with Tyreek Hill and others, so trading away Waddle would leave a significant void.
But if the Bills are serious about landing Waddle, they may have to act fast. Rumors have circulated that the Bills could offer multiple draft picks to pry the young wideout away from Miami, but whether the Dolphins would be willing to trade within the division remains to be seen.
As Week 7 approaches, all eyes will be on Buffalo. If they manage to land Waddle, the already-dangerous offense could reach new heights. The question remains: Will the Bills make a move before the trade deadline, or will they stick with what they have?
For now, Waddle’s comments only add fuel to the fire, keeping fans and analysts alike wondering if the Bills' receiving corps is about to get an upgrade. If the rumors are true, the AFC could be in for a whole new level of firepower.
Packers DL Duo Headlines Hefty Week 7 Injury Report

The Green Bay Packers will go into Sunday afternoon’s game against the Arizona Cardinals as seven point favorites, but they seem to very much be victims of the injury bug going around the league at this time of year.
The Packers have three players who are out for Sunday’s week 7 game, alongside a further seven who are questionable to play – almost all of whom are starters or significant role players – as reported by The Athletic’s Matt Schneidman.
Christian Watson, Lukas Van Ness and Devonte Wyatt are OUT for Sunday against the Cardinals.
Zach Tom, Josh Jacobs, Nate Hobbs, Dontayvion Wicks, Anthony Belton, Brandon McManus and Jacob Monk are QUESTIONABLE.
Jacobs was upgraded to full participation but added a calf injury.
Packers Will Be Missing Multiple Defensive Linemen In Week 7
“Christian Watson, Lukas Van Ness and Devonte Wyatt are OUT for Sunday against the Cardinals.” Schneidman wrote on Friday.
“Zach Tom, Josh Jacobs, Nate Hobbs, Dontayvion Wicks, Anthony Belton, Brandon McManus and Jacob Monk are QUESTIONABLE.
Jacobs was upgraded to full participation but added a calf injury. Hobbs added to the report with a knee injury and was limited.”
Some of those injuries have been mainstays for the organization for the past few weeks: Tom is working his way back from an oblique tear suffered early on in the season, and Watson is slowly coming closer and closer to his return from a horrific knee injury suffered in early January, since being activated off of injured reserve.
But others are more new developments, like Van Ness’ foot injury that occurred in last weekend’s victory against Cincinnati.
