Alvin Kamara Turns Down $170 Million Offers from Jets and Ravens to Stay a Saint for Life – Here’s Why!
New Orleans, LA – In a stunning move that has left the NFL world in shock, star running back Alvin Kamara has made a bold statement about his loyalty, rejecting offers worth an astounding $170 million from both the New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens. The decision has taken fans and analysts by surprise, as many expected Kamara to secure a historic payday in the 2025 free-agent market. But the heart and soul of the New Orleans Saints' offense has a different vision for his future.

In an exclusive interview, Kamara shared his unwavering commitment to the Saints and explained why he chose to remain in New Orleans for the long haul. “I’m a Saint for life,” Kamara declared, signaling that his journey with the team is far from over. The 29-year-old running back, regarded as one of the most dynamic and versatile players in the NFL, has been the cornerstone of the Saints’ offense for years. His ability to impact the game in both the running and receiving game has made him one of the most dangerous offensive weapons in the league.
The decision comes as a major surprise, especially considering the massive financial offers Kamara turned down. Both the Jets and Ravens, looking to add a game-changing playmaker to their rosters, presented Kamara with contracts that would have paid him $170 million over four years. This would have made Kamara one of the highest-paid running backs in NFL history. Yet, despite the temptation of such a lucrative offer, Kamara chose loyalty over money.
“I’ve been here through thick and thin,” Kamara explained. “This city, this team, this fanbase—they’ve supported me from day one. It’s not just about football for me. It’s about finishing what we started here. I want to bring another championship to New Orleans. That’s my legacy. Money and fame are great, but nothing compares to winning a Super Bowl with the Saints.”
Fans in New Orleans are celebrating Kamara’s decision, and the Saints organization is reportedly “thrilled” to have their star running back commit to the team long-term. Saints owner, Gayle Benson, expressed her excitement, saying, “Alvin’s loyalty to the Saints is unmatched. We are ecstatic to have him with us for the long run. His leadership, talent, and work ethic are exactly what we need as we continue to chase a championship.”
Kamara’s decision could have a significant impact on the NFL, as other top players may start to reconsider whether financial success is the only route to greatness. For now, Kamara is focused on one thing: winning with the New Orleans Saints.
The NFL world is buzzing, and one thing is clear: Alvin Kamara is carving his own path—and it’s leading straight through New Orleans.
Kamara’s Legacy in New Orleans
As he enters the 2025 season with a contract that will likely see him finish his career with the Saints, Kamara’s place in New Orleans’ football history is already secured. Since being drafted in 2017, he has become one of the most electrifying and versatile players in the NFL. His ability to break tackles, catch passes, and impact games in a variety of ways has made him one of the league’s most dangerous threats.
Turning down the massive $170 million offers only strengthens his bond with the team and solidifies his status as a true franchise player. Kamara’s commitment to the Saints is expected to be a driving force for the team as they continue their pursuit of a Super Bowl title.
With the Saints looking to remain contenders in the NFC, Kamara’s leadership and loyalty will be critical to their future success. His dedication to New Orleans will be felt for years to come.
The question remains: Will Alvin Kamara’s decision to reject $170 million redefine what it means to be a franchise player in today’s NFL? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain: his unwavering loyalty to the Saints will leave a lasting legacy in both the franchise and the league.
Browns Urged to Make Stunning Trade for $275 Million Quarterback

The Cleveland Browns could look to the trade market to find their franchise quarterback.
Cleveland has been widely expected to use an early pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft to get their franchise quarterback. Yet, NFL insider Jason Fitz of Yahoo Sports believes Cleveland should look to acquire Trevor Lawrence from the Jacksonville Jaguars.

“For that big deal he just got, the way the cap is laid out, it’s a really attainable contract, some complications for the Jags to get rid of him,” Fitz said. “But it’s an attainable contract. … Trevor Lawrence to the Browns? What do you think?”
Fitz’s co-host, Caroline Fenton, agreed and felt like Lawrence being traded to the Browns makes a ton of sense.
“That’s like a nine (out of 10). I would love this for the Cleveland Browns because it would what it would give them is stability at the quarterback position,” Fenton said. “When was the last time the Browns had stability at the quarterback position? What Trevor Lawrence can do is come in and give you just enough. You know that he would be your guy for the next five-plus years.”
Lawrence is in the midst of his five-year, $275 million deal, including $142 million guaranteed with the Jaguars. He was selected first overall in 2021, but he has struggled to live up to expectations with the Jaguars.
This season, Lawrence has gone 188-of-316 for 1,998 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions while also rushing for 4 touchdowns.
Lawrence’s Name Has Come up in Trade Rumors
In the offseason, Lawrence’s name has come up in trade rumors.
However, no deal was made, and Lawrence said the rumors weren’t true, especially due to the fact that he has a no-trade clause.
“I have a no-trade clause in my contract, so I would know about it if I was getting traded or if that was something that was going to happen,” Lawrence said during an appearance on
Lawrence is a one-time Pro Bowler and has led the Jaguars to the playoffs just once, in 2022, when he led Jacksonville to a 9-8 record. He’s 27-42 as a starting quarterback in the NFL.
Browns Remain Confident in Gabriel
Cleveland is widely expected to have a new quarterback in 2026 despite the team showing so much confidence in Dillon Gabriel.
Gabriel will remain the starter on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. Despite his struggles, Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said he still has confidence in the rookie quarterback.
“Well, I think with young quarterbacks, it’s understanding that there’s going to be ups and downs,” Stefanski said on Monday. “You know, can Dillon play better? Yes, he can. Can we play better around him? Yes, we can. Can we coach him better? Yes, we can.
“So, I understand the question. But I just trust that our young players at every position, and certainly at the quarterback position, are guys that are going to work their tails off to get better every single day.”
Cleveland is a 7.5-point underdog at home against the Ravens.
