Aaron Glenn Shares 3 Words About Benching Jets QB Justin Fields
The New York Jets have started Justin Fields at QB in every game this season that he has been healthy. That might not be the case after this mini bye week.

Head coach Aaron Glenn shared a three-word response when asked if he would consider making a quarterback change after the Week 11 loss to the New England Patriots.
“I’m evaluating everything,” Glenn said on Friday, November 14.
“I’m evaluating myself, the players, the schematics, coaches — I am evaluating everything. So I don’t want to just place everything on that one situation. I am just looking at everything, as a head coach, that is my job. To make sure that I put this team in the best position to go win games,” Coach Glenn explained.
The Jets played the Patriots on Thursday Night Football to start Week 11. That game was on Thursday, November 13. The next game for the Jets in Week 12 is on Sunday, November 23, against the Baltimore Ravens.
Glenn Leaves Door Open for a QB Change
Brian Costello of the New York Post said, “It did feel like Glenn was more open to a possible [quarterback] change today. He did not shoot down the questions.”
Aaron Glenn says he will be evaluating everything when asked about considering a QB change. It did feel like Glenn was more open to a possible change today. He did not shoot down the questions.
In previous press conferences, Coach Glenn has been strong in his defense of Fields. After the Week 6 loss to the Denver Broncos, Costello asked Glenn if Fields would remain his starting QB going into Week 7.
“C’mon, man. What kind of question is that?” Glenn asked in disbelief. He totally dismissed the idea of even thinking about benching Fields despite his struggles.
“I think you hear that quite a bit when you get these quarterback changes. ‘Man, I’m trying to get a spark for the team.’ But to me, it’s more or less, man, I’m trying to make the best decision to give our guys a chance to win. Because to me, a spark is a short-term deal, and I don’t know what other coaches’ decisions are, but man, I wanna make the decision that gives us a chance to win. Whatever that evaluation process comes out to, just know that the reason why I make the decisions that I make is because it gives us the best chance to win,” Coach Glenn added.
The Jets Need to Make the Best Decision for Winning and Evaluation
Of course, Coach Glenn wants to win games. He is trying to establish a culture and it’s a lot easier to sell your message if you’re winning games.
However, at 2-8, it is more complicated than just wins versus losses. The team needs to evaluate what they have on the roster. It’s a lot harder to do that at wide receiver with the level of quarterback play we have seen this season from Fields.
ESPN’s Rich Cimini revealed, “The Jets are averaging a league-low 139.9 passing yards per game. That would be the lowest in the NFL since the 2022 Bears (130.5). Common denominator: Justin Fields at QB.”

Those limited passing yards and wild inaccuracies make it nearly impossible to evaluate the pass catchers on the Jets’ offense.
With Garrett Wilson on the shelf for the foreseeable future, the green and white have far more questions than answers at WR.
Sure, maybe a quarterback change from Fields to Tyrod Taylor would help win more games. But more importantly, it would give the Jets a better chance to evaluate John Metchie III, Arian Smith, Adonai Mitchell, and Mason Taylor.
San Francisco 49ers Star Defensive End Nick Bosa Addresses Engagement Backlash: “I Don’t See Color”

San Francisco — In the wake of his high-profile engagement to longtime girlfriend, model and social media personality

Speaking candidly during a rare press conference at the 49ers’ training facility, Bosa addressed the backlash head-on.
“I’ve seen the posts. I’ve read the comments. But here’s the truth: I don’t see color,” Bosa said, his voice calm but resolute. “Ella has been by my side through everything — the good, the bad, and the chaotic moments. My love for her isn’t about race, it’s about the bond we share, the trust, and the life we’re building together.”
The defensive end’s engagement, which was announced earlier this month with a stunning ring and a heartfelt social media post, quickly went viral. Fans celebrated, but some critics questioned the relationship dynamics, sparking a wave of debates across platforms. The discussion soon extended beyond sports and celebrity circles, touching on broader cultural conversations about relationships, public image, and personal freedom.
Bosa, who has consistently maintained a reputation as one of the NFL’s most grounded stars, made it clear that he won’t let social media drama overshadow his personal life.
“People will always have opinions. That’s fine,” Bosa continued. “But I know who I am, I know what I value, and I know the woman I’m marrying. Nothing else matters.”
Ella Matthews also spoke briefly during the press conference, emphasizing the couple’s shared commitment and support for one another. “Nick and I have built something real, something lasting. Social media doesn’t define our love — we do,” she said.
Fans have since rallied around the couple, flooding Bosa’s posts with messages of support and admiration. Hashtags like #NickAndElla, #TrueLoveInSanFrancisco, and #NoHateJustLove quickly began trending nationwide.
As Bosa prepares for the upcoming NFL season, it’s clear that he won’t let personal attacks derail his focus. The defensive end’s statement has not only addressed the backlash but also cemented his stance as a leader who speaks with honesty, integrity, and heart — both on and off the field.
One thing is certain: Nick Bosa’s love life just became as talked-about as his game-day performances, and he’s proving that some battles are fought with courage and conviction, not with controversy.
