9 Teams Submit Trade Offers for Bills' Keon Coleman — Market Heating Up Fast
The wide receiver market is heating up fast, and one name has emerged as a highly sought-after asset: Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman. After an impressive preseason performance, Coleman has quickly become one of the most intriguing players on the trade market, with at least nine NFL teams reportedly making inquiries about acquiring the dynamic playmaker.

Coleman, who joined the Bills in 2025 as one of the league’s rising stars, has shown poise, precision, and a level of command that belies his experience. While preseason games are typically viewed with caution when it comes to predicting future success, Coleman's ability to execute in high-pressure situations has garnered significant attention across the league. His performance has sparked discussions within NFL front offices, leading to an uptick in trade offers.
Why Coleman is in High Demand
Coleman’s impressive pedigree and potential make him an attractive option for teams in need of a No. 1 wide receiver or even a playmaker who can be a game-changer from day one. At 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds, Coleman has the ideal size and skill set for an NFL wide receiver, and his ability to create separation and fight through coverage has caught the eye of several NFL teams. His speed, hands, and strong after-catch ability make him a top target for any offense looking to elevate their passing game.
While Coleman is still young, his promise as a future superstar wide receiver makes him an ideal option for teams with uncertain wide receiver groups or those looking to acquire a potential game-changing weapon for their offense.
Teams Interested in Coleman
Multiple sources within the league have confirmed that at least nine teams have submitted trade offers for Coleman. Here’s a breakdown of the teams reportedly interested in the Bills’ standout wide receiver:
-
Miami Dolphins: With an explosive offense led by Tyreek Hill, adding Coleman would give the Dolphins one of the most dangerous receiving corps in the NFL.
-
New York Jets
: If their passing game struggles, Coleman could be the big-play receiver the Jets need to take their offense to the next level, providing a dangerous weapon for their quarterbacks. -
Cleveland Browns: With an inconsistent receiving group, the Browns are looking for a true No. 1 receiver, and Coleman’s ability to dominate in any situation has caught their attention.
-
Baltimore Ravens: The Ravens are looking to improve their passing game, and Coleman’s ability to stretch the field would provide Lamar Jackson with a reliable, dynamic target.
-
Indianapolis Colts
: With their quarterback situation still developing, Coleman could provide a veteran presence and a deep threat that the Colts need to elevate their offense. -
Jacksonville Jaguars: With Trevor Lawrence continuing to improve, adding Coleman would give the Jaguars a top-tier target to pair with their young quarterback and make their offense even more potent.
-
Houston Texans: Although still rebuilding, Coleman’s ability to create big plays and mentor younger receivers could be a valuable addition to the Texans’ offense.
-
New Orleans Saints: With a need for a consistent and explosive receiver, Coleman could step in immediately as their go-to target in a revamped offense.
-
Arizona Cardinals: With their receiving group needing a top-tier player, Coleman would provide stability and a playmaking presence while they continue to rebuild their roster.
The Future of Coleman
Although no trade is imminent, Coleman’s performance in the preseason has undoubtedly caused a stir around the league. NFL teams are known to be cautious in the offseason, but with wide receivers like Coleman in short supply, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the trade market intensify in the coming weeks. The Bills, while currently confident in their passing attack with Josh Allen, may ultimately decide to field the best offer for Coleman, especially if a team is willing to offer valuable assets in return.
As the preseason progresses and teams fine-tune their rosters, expect the conversation surrounding Keon Coleman to grow louder. For wide receiver-needy teams, he may be the perfect fit—someone with the tools to become a game-changing starter in the right system, making him one of the most intriguing trade targets as the regular season approaches.
NFL Exploring Discipline for Jalen Carter, Dak Prescott After Cowboys-Eagles Game

It was a thrilling NFL season opener between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles, but all anyone can talk about is Jalen Carter. The Eagles defensive tackle was ejected before either team took an offensive snap after spitting on Dak Prescott.
This incident has sparked curiosity among fans on if Carter could face additional discipline, such as a suspension, from the NFL. There is also additional angles showing Dak Prescott spitting prior to Carter’s incident, but the Eagles defender was a considerably distance away from the Cowboys quarterback.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported that the NFL is exploring all the details and footage of the incident before deciding if additional discipline is necessary. The NFL insider added that Prescott is unlikely to receive discipline, while Carter’s status remains uncertain.
The NFL will review last night’s spitting incident for possible additional discipline — standard for acts that lead to disqualification.

“The NFL is going to review the entire spitting incident, which is standard procedure in any case that involves an ejection,” Pelissero detailed on a September 5, 2025, episode of “Good Morning Football.” “That could lead to a fine. It can, in certain cases, lead to a suspension, but there’s several important factors here to note.
“One, Jalen Carter effectively served a one-game suspension last night by becoming one of the only players in NFL history to get ejected before playing a snap in the game. Generally, if you’re going back historically, the NFL in terms of additional discipline has handled spitting incidents with fines, not suspensions.”
Cowboys QB Dak Prescott Is Unlikely to Face Discipline for Incident With Eagles DT Jalen Carter: Insider
This is a long way of saying that past discipline for similar spitting incidents has led to fines, not suspensions. With Carter missing all of Week 1, smart money is likely on the defender being able to suit up against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2. The one thing that appears most clear is that Prescott is unlikely to face any discipline from the league.
“As for Dak Prescott, let’s be very clear here,” Pelissero added. “There is no rule against spitting in the general direction of someone from a significant distance.
“I would not anticipate that this is going to become something that ends up in discipline for Dak Prescott.”
Jalen Carter on Possible Suspension: ‘If I Get That Text or That Call, That Conversation, Then We’ll Handle It’
Carter’s postgame comments ranged from being apologetic to pointing towards Prescott for instigating the incident. The Eagles defender was asked if he is worried about a possible suspension by the NFL.
“If I get that text or that call, that conversation, then we’ll handle it,” Carter told reporters on September 5.
Eagles Declined to Reveal If Jalen Carter Will Face Additional Discipline for Incident vs. Cowboys
In addition to the NFL’s decision, Carter could face additional punishment from the Eagles. Head coach Nick Sirianni noted on multiple occasions that Carter’s discipline, if any, will be handled “in-house.”

“I’m going to keep all our conversations, and all my disciplinary things in-house, but we’ve got to fix it as coaches,” Sirianni explained, per Pro Football Talk. “… Again, I will keep everything in-house and you won’t ever get that from me.
“Everything will always be handled in-house. Just like private conversations I have with players, none of that will ever get out to you, I’m sorry.”
