4 best Eagles’ A.J. Brown trade destinations as cryptic tweet puts rumors in overdrive
“I let my frustrations get the best of me.” – A.J. Brown
🔥 A.J. Brown’s Tweet Sends Shockwaves: The Philadelphia Eagles are 4-0, but that hasn't stopped wide receiver A.J. Brown from causing a stir with a cryptic tweet that sparked trade rumors. While Brown quickly took responsibility for his actions and spoke with coach Nick Sirianni, the situation has led to speculation about potential destinations for the star receiver.
💥 Trade Destinations for A.J. Brown: Several teams are now being linked to a potential trade for Brown, with analysts suggesting the following options:
-
New England Patriots: The Patriots could look to add a dynamic, physical receiver like Brown to help elevate their passing game. With rookie QB Drake Maye showing promise, adding Brown could make New England a contender for years to come. Brown’s contract runs through 2029, making him an appealing long-term investment.
-
Buffalo Bills: Imagine pairing A.J. Brown with Josh Allen. The combination would be a nightmare for opposing defenses. While the Bills have struggled to find consistent production from their receivers, adding a star like Brown would make their offense almost unstoppable. The Bills have the weapons, but Brown would take them to the next level.
-
Denver Broncos: The Broncos are on the brink of Super Bowl contention, and adding Brown could give their offense the explosive weapon they need. Brown’s ability to stretch the field would open up running lanes for Denver’s ground game and make them a serious threat in the AFC.
-
Indianapolis Colts: Although less likely, the Colts could make a move for Brown if they believe he could be the missing piece. However, with questions surrounding quarterback Daniel Jones and the team’s current rebuilding phase, the Colts may wait until they have a clearer picture before making a big trade.
⚔️ Will Brown Stay or Go?: A.J. Brown’s future with the Eagles is uncertain, but as trade rumors swirl, his next destination could have a huge impact on his career and the team’s chances of making a playoff run.

Steelers Projected to Replace Aaron Rodgers With Physically Gifted Dual-Threat QB

It’s really early to be projecting what any NFL team could do in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft. But the lone exception might be the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Even with the 2026 NFL Draft seven months away, it’s not much of a stretch to say quarterback will be the team’s biggest need.
With that in mind, SI on College Football’s Randy Gurzi predicted the Steelers to select South Carolina signal-caller LaNorris Sellers at No. 20 overall in his latest 2026 mock draft on Friday.
“The shine came off in a hurry for LaNorris Sellers as South Carolina was routed by Vanderbilt,” Gurzi wrote. “He’s still good enough to be in the Round 1 conversation, however, and should slide right into a starting role for Mike Tomlin and the Steelers.”
The Steelers might need an immediate starter behind center next season. The team added 4-time MVP Aaron Rodgers this past offseason. However, Rodgers has indicated the 2025 campaign will be his final NFL season.
Veteran Mason Rudolph and sixth-round rookie Will Howard are the team’s other quarterbacks already under contract for 2026.
Pundits have predicted Sellers to be one of the top quarterbacks prospects in the 2026 draft class. Seller was the fourth quarterback off the board in Gurzi’s mock draft.
Things have been a little slow for the South Carolina signal-caller early in 2026. However, last season, he averaged 8.5 yards per pass and ran for 674 yards with seven touchdowns.
Through three games in 2025, Sellers has posted 143.7 passing yards and 15 rushing yards per contest. He has also accounted for three touchdowns.
Why LaNorris Sellers Could be a 2026 First-Round Pick
As Gurzi suggested, Sellers’ stock is on the decline at the moment because of South Carolina’s loss to Vanderbilt on September 13. In a 31-7 defeat, Sellers only attempted seven passes and yet threw an interception.
He also had minus-3 rushing yards.
But there’s plenty of time for Sellers’ draft stock to recover. He could be a top quarterback in the 2026 class because of his raw traits.
“He’s got most physical talent,” one NFL scout told ESPN. “His ability to scramble and make plays with his feet as a runner. He’s instinctive and the ball comes out quick. He’s got a unique talent level. The kid, his story and how he got there. He’s got a toughness to him. It intrigues people.
“He’s got the makeup, intangibles and ability to run. He’s got the most potential to be an impact player.”
ESPN polled 25 NFL scouts and executives to project the top quarterback in the 2026 class. The responses were split, but Sellers earned the most votes with eight.
LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier, who was the No. 1 pick in Gurzi’s mock draft, was second with seven votes. Five other quarterbacks received votes but none of them had more than three.
Why the Steelers Will Likely Draft QB in First Round of 2026 NFL Draft
Unless Rodgers returns for the Steelers in 2026, the team is poised to start a different Week 1 quarterback for a sixth consecutive season next year. It’s in the team’s best interest to ensure that starter in Week 1 next season is a long-term solution.
The last two years, the Steelers have used band-aid options at quarterback to try and stay competitive. They actually largely worked. The team earned a playoff berth last year with Justin Fields and Russell Wilson behind center.
Rodgers has the Steelers sitting at 1-1 to open 2025 thanks in large part to four touchdown passes in Week 1.
But that success is not sustainable with the team’s current quarterback carousel. The inconsistency behind center is also partially why the Steelers haven’t won a playoff game since January 2017.
Again, there’s a long way to go before the 2026 NFL Draft. On Thursday, The 33rd Team’s Steve Palazzolo argued the 2026 quarterback class looks a lot weaker than it did a few months ago.
That’s terrible news for the Steelers. It could force the team to delay drafting a quarterback again.
But in a perfect world, the Steelers will grab their future behind center in the first round of 2026.
